  • Great app for a great sensor

It just works, exactly as you’d expect. Remember to calibrate your sensor regularly!
  • Excellent instrument

I have several CO2 monitors and this one is superlative. It is easy to use, highly accurate, and the data collection is great! The app has lots of options to tweak features without being klunky or overloaded. My only ask is that the app get some widget action because the ability to see the data on a Lock Screen or watch would add an extra layer of accessibility.

  • Solid app

The graphs of CO2, temperature, humidity and air pressure are easy to navigate. I love checking these graphs when I get home, as nerdy as it is. Would recommend.
  • Lifesaving device!!!

This device should be in every one’s home. I live in a part of Arizona where it’s very hot. People close their windows to save on cooling. But I always leave one of my windows cracked open about one or 2 inches depending on the reading of my ARANET. —Millions of people around the country are choking themselves with CO2!!!

  • Almost 5 stars

This has been a very pleasant and easy app to use.

I would suggest clearer wording to show if a user uses Aranet4 Home to prompt a user to connect in order to not lose measurement data.

As in, when you link up a device, remind a user, strongly, how often to make sure the device has been synced. Or, a notification when closing the Aranet app that it will not background sync any more – Tesla app does this and warns you when you force close it that you will lose wireless phone key functionality. I have been losing data by not syncing Aranet.

The app could log the last time a device was connected and send a push notification to say, you have 1 day to sync before you start losing data.

The reason for dropping a star from 5 to 4 though, is for the app sometimes not detecting a device even though it is next to me. Force closing the app and restarting it allows it to connect, so it seems like an app problem.

Thanks for the app and device!

  • Great app

Intuitive to set up, clean visualizations. Gives a good picture of when and how CO2 levels rises in different rooms.
  • Works every time

We’ve been using this for over a week now and we’ve encountered absolutely no issues. It reliably gives us our carbon dioxide readings within our home.
  • UI needs improvement

A lot of the settings don't explain what they are. (What is fullscreen mode? It doesn't seem to do anything).

The app really needs to support auto dark mode. If the system is in dark mode, the app should be dark.

I am honestly not sure what the Smart Home Integration does. It doesn't show up in the Home app. The app has no help pages so I have no idea what any of these settings do.

I would like for the app to notify me if the CO2 exceeds a threshold. There is no way to set up anything like this.

The device itself is excellent however. But the app only supports very basic functionality.

  • Simple

    Very easy to use
  • Excellent device

Work very well and provides fascinating information. Using it in my bedroom I discovered that C02 rises while sleeping and turning on an overhead fan lowers it, along with placing certain kinds of plants in the room. Also used it to check interior of my car while driving. Or should I say my wife did the checks!
