Great app, great product
It’s rare to find a product that both delights and doesn’t monetize user data. Aranet IoT delivers both. Really great work by the team and can’t wait to see what’s next in development. Would love to see more sensor types added to the product line over time and perhaps even see support for Apple Watch, Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets.Show lessGuest Comment
Not bad, but room for improvement.
I really like my Aranet4. I bring it with me, in my purse. I showed my Doc that the air in his temporary office is really bad. (He’s now getting his own Aranet, AND working on improving the air quality!)
My biggest complaint about the device is, after reading reviews from others, I felt I needed to purchase a 3-D printed cover and a case for Boise portable speakers to protect it in my purse. The 3-D should be part of the device. A carry case that properly fits the Aranet4 should be optional.
I’ve had it about a month. This is what I think about the app:
It NEEDS an Apple Watch app!
The app allows a user to see only one week of data, or export 1.5 weeks. Unfortunately, anything older is lost. I wish it held a summary (at least) of more historical data.
I wish the export function had options: Date range, all data, or summary by hourly or daily (date, high, low, and time)
Like most apps, the display closes after a short time, but stays open on the “Aranet4 Display.” That app won’t allow changes in intervals, so I end up using two apps.
When I’m at home, I monitor in 10 minute intervals; when in public I go to 1 minute measurements. I wish it was easier to change the intervals.
It would be nice if it had a GPS function, to show where it was when measuring. A “Find my” wouldn’t be bad, either.
Other than these improvements, my only other recommendation is to have better instructions for both the device and the apps.Show lessBonnie03079
Great device and app - needs longer storage options
Really great device and the application does almost everything you need - however it's got an imposed limit of keeping only 14 days of data. For the price of the device it really should be able to keep much more at least on your phone if not both the phone and device.s_mcleod

Thank you for this app and for the physical product; I'm enjoying both. I do have a request though: could you please implement a function to make the sensor beep? I take my sensor with me but can misplace it sometimes and this would help me locate it again. Much thanks again!Brianroyce
Straightforward, tidy, and functional
I’ve found it easy to use, with reasonable visual design and it meets my expectations.
If there’s one thing I’d really like, it’s pinch-to-zoom on the y-axis, like the x-axis. Using the min and max values to set the range gives undesirable results when there are outlier spikes, or when measurements have a very small range within the specified time.Show lessgt_randomnumber

I hated the app before this latest update. Slow, impossible to use, blegh. The most recent update totally fixes both the speed of the app but also the ease of navigating the graphs and time periods. Awesome job!andrewfturner

The app is a nice interface to the Aranet monitor, and makes it way easier to change settings (like temp units) versus the ultra-mini hardware switches. The graphs are a nice feature, particularly if you leave the monitor in one location. It would be next level if you could tag timepoints on the graphs with sticky notes, with say, a press and hold to add note, and a tap to open. Also, good on the Devs for not collecting data!!Show lessben-the-breather
