  • Awful

This abysmal app makes an otherwise great device almost unusable. The data sync function is agonizingly slow to load. The developers need to fix this before it destroys the success of the device.
  • Works very well

Bluetooth pairing was easy. Resetting the meter from the app worked well. (I set metering time to every minute from five minutes.) I can export the data to CSV easily. Does what it says on the tin!
  • Inconsistent operation

Sometimes the app connects and has a hard time reconnecting. I have to basically restart the app to get it work.

Exporting data hangs most of the time, which makes this app relatively useless.
  • Excelent !

    Works as it should.
  • Keypad doesn’t appear; cannot pair!

With latest OS on iPhone 11, I cannot pair the app to the device because the keypad doesn’t pop up in the app when it requests the user to input the pairing code. There is no way to get the keyboard to appear.
  • Good but...

When the phone disconnects from the device, it fails to reconnect , so you have to keep rebooting the app and repairing

    Developer Response

New Aranet4 app version is released. Please reinstall the app and upgrade your sensor firmware. Find more info on forum.aranet.com.
  • Aranet4

Downloading CSV files appears to be taken away in the updated app. This capability was one of the main reason we bought 10 of these monitors. It’s critical to how we’ve been monitoring school classrooms. Get it back into the app ASAP.
  • App does not work

Will not stay connected via Bluetooth.
  • Bluetooth fixed!

Pin entry works with iOS 14.4
  • Pretty basic app

The Aranet4 co2 meters are physically well made, but this app is extremely basic and doesn’t function well.

    1) it takes a long time to connect to the devices, and sometimes it seems like I need to open+close the app a few times or turn off Bluetooth and back on, for it to actually see adjacent devices.

    2) the app doesn’t save any history of the data it fetched from devices. So, to view any data, it first needs to connect to the device (see above...flaky and unreliable), then it needs to fetch all the device history, then you can see a graph of the data. Every time the app closes and opens, this process needs to repeat.

I also have several temp/humidity/pressure sensors from SensorPush — their app is infinitely better than this, it reliably connects to the sensors, stores historical data even when not connected to the sensor, and it can show graphs of current data while still fetching the history. Unfortunately, SensorPush doesn’t make co2 meters, so I’m stuck with this not-even-half-baked app for that reason.
