Not worth the time

To be able to redeem any cash or even gift cards you have to catch it at the exact right time. I’ve had the app for months and have yet to see even once a PayPal payout even available. As for the gift cards, there are the more obscure ones left, such as chipotle or AMC, but the more sought out ones seems to never be available. It appears they only Give one out ever couple hours, which doesn’t seem fair, you have to stay on screen and keep refreshing and even then someone will grab it before you, and all this for at the most $5?? Not worth the time or energy at all unless they start making changes to make redeeming rewards easier. Edit: I am aware that they are available periodically but it is almost impossible to actually claim them due to the fact that I believe the stock is low and you only release a couple at a time. I have sat there and refreshed the screen for 10 mins and still managed to miss the reward because someone else got to it first. And the raffle is just that, a raffle, gambling the miles away in hope you’ll win a $25 gift card no guarantee. Using the app is fine if you’re willing to keep trying and have fun with it, but it’s definitely a marathon not a race, don’t expect to get any cash quick, and definitely don’t pay for premium.

Our rewards restock periodically throughout the day. Additional gift cards are released for raffles, which are still available when buy now gift cards have sold out.

Good concept, too much competition

I understand that it’s generous for an app to give monetary rewards at all, as most apps do not, but it kind of defeats the purpose when there’s so many people using the app. I’ve been using Miles for a few months now and I’ve racked up quite a few miles, but when I want to go redeem a gift card there’s never any available. It’ll say that “more” are coming in 1-3 hours, but when I go back after the time it says to wait there’s already someone waiting to immediately claim it (when it says “more” will be available soon, it really means 1 more). I’ve been trying for around a week to buy a gift card with my miles but I can’t because there’s so many other people trying to buy gift cards and so little gift cards in stock. Another thing— Surveys. A lot of the time I’ll take a survey (which usually takes around 15 minutes, who wants to be answering boring questions for that much time?) And then after it’ll say that there was an issue and it won’t give me my miles, which really upsets me. I make sure to give truthful and thoughtful answers instead of skipping through like most people would. Anyway, the app has much improvement to see and I’ll give 2 stars instead of 1 because I think the developers have a chance to improve the app.

Redeeming reward is like a competition, first come first serve!

I've been using the Miles app for over two years now, and my experience has been a mix of satisfaction and frustration. Initially, the app's simplicity was its biggest draw—I just had to open it and click to log my travels. However, recent updates have made it more cumbersome and time-consuming, requiring multiple clicks to specify the details of each trip.

One of my biggest frustrations is with the reward system. Even though i have been reaching the Platinum level and accumulating enough miles for a gift card, redeeming these rewards is a challenge. Gift cards are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, which often leaves me empty-handed. It's disappointing that the app doesn't simply allow users to redeem their miles for gift cards whenever they have enough, rather than creating unnecessary competition.

Overall, while the app has potential, these issues have made my user experience less enjoyable. I'm seriously considering deleting the app unless these concerns are addressed.

Rewards and miles

Mile rewards should be awarded for having to watch Popup ads. Subscriptions shouldn’t cost so much with ads everywhere in the app. Purchasing giftcards with miles is hard. Every time I try to get a gift card, the one I’d like to select isn’t available, “so and so got the last one, next one is available in X hours or minutes.” By the time I come back in the amount of time another “so and so got the last one”. Please offer more gift cards for current retailers and higher dollar amounts like $10, $25 and $50; and have more selection for other retailers, like American Eagle, Tractor Supply Company, etc.

Also, make another level for those that achieve earning more than 5k mile points each month. Can make “Elite” level for those that earn 10k or more each month. Monthly bonus miles 10%, higher donation match 25%, higher chance of winning raffles 10x, accelerated earnings 25%. And make the app more fun to earn miles faster.

Literally a ponzi scheme with none of the gains.

This app is literally a ponzi scheme. They throttle your rate of collecting miles and make it as inconvenient as possible to actually collect your ridiculously low output. The rewards are utterly unachievable for even paid users (even if they were worth it) and the raffles are always won by some diamond user who mysteriously shows up with an even number of THOUSANDS of entries, making it essentially impossible for anyone else to get a fair shake at winning, which let’s be honest, isn’t a real user, it’s a rigged raffle with no winners.

So how are those pitifully low rewardsand “offers” (I.E free discounts you’d get just from going to their website) paid out? Through the ads, referral links, data contributions, and subscriptions of other users of course. So if you invest money into this, there’s a CHANCE that you might see returns coming at the expense of other investors, and thus, it is a ponzi scheme. It’s also a referral link scam AND a rigged sweepstakes scan all at the sane time.

Seriously man, those “offers” they show you are coupons that you could get yourself without redeeming anything at ALL. Those “free month of subscription” codes are given out with pretty much every subscription, and on top of that Miles will try to charge you extra money for redeeming your basic coupons.

Do NOT install this app. It is a SCAM. They’re stealing your data and wasting your time.

Years ago the app was good. I used to use it often because you didn’t have to pay a subscription to get all of your miles. I travel for a living and it’s crazy to think I get awarded 20 miles for a 120 mile drive, and for a 7 mile drive I get 8 miles. This app is just trying to get your money at this point. They stopped caring about the users experience and instead went for the money grabbing route and it’s sad to see. They’re excuse is that you can purchase their subscription in order to get all of your benefits, but why do I have to now when I didn’t have to before. Stupid change and terrible app, only reason I’m still on here is just to spend the last of my miles. Also you can only purchase on gift card a month and the raffles are fake. Update: the response you have given has only made me not want your app more. What made your app bad was the fact you made it to where you have to have a subscription in order for the app to be worth it. The whole point of the app is to earn not spend. You have changed that whole premise and that’s your response to every single persons post is “miles+”. It didn’t used to exist and should’ve never exist. Same thing as buying miles. At this point you have turned your app into a pay to win Minecraft server.

What happened to this app??

This app used to be pretty great. I hadn’t used it for a while and since redownloading it I see now there’s a daily limit, you can no longer tag all your miles because there’s a limit on that as well. It seems everything is limited now. Even if I were to purchase a membership, that too is limited. So I will definitely not be purchasing. How do I look paying a monthly subscription for something that was better before you guys started charging for it. Not sure what happened, but this app is not what it used to be. Not sure if it’s even worth keeping anymore. I’ve won gift cards in the past but I logged back in and all my miles were gone and now I’m at 50 miles. What am I doing with that? I understand that it’s been a while since I logged in, and I was fully prepared to accept starting from zero considering I hadn’t used my account for a decent amount of time. But with the way the app currently runs it seems like there is no point in bothering. Shame. I used to use this app every single day multiple times a day. I wonder if one of my gift cards I hadn’t used yet is gone too!? 🤔🙄

These last few updates have become even better. They have listened and they are becoming even greater. I’ve started to update the trips more frequently & have been enjoying it more. Rewards are up! Great work everyone on the staff.

If the users were able to add more than one category for trips for a single time it would make more clarity for the rides and it could make our lives even better. Just saying because sometimes the trips are more than one kind. We don’t necessarily need multiple rewards for multiple categories for single trips but that could be something for the future if it gets greater like that.

I’ll keep checking it out and figuring ways to make Miles App better.

Absolutely horrible

First thing is how they screw you over once you redeem your first gift card. Before I redeemed my first gift card 1k miles equaled $10 worth of gift card. Immediately after redeeming a $20 gift card the price for gift cards drastically shot up. Now it’s 2k miles for $1 gift card. That’s complete crap but I figured I’d just keep earning miles in the background without ever having to even worry about the app and once I earn enough to get another gift card I would redeem again. Not only has the updates to the app prevented me from being able to passively get miles (you have to manually click on every trip in the app now), but you also can only redeem ONE gift card worth a maximum of $1 every 72 hours. That’s so stupid.
On top of that, they also took away 100k miles that I had to my profile. I was at over 126k miles and now I’m down to 26k! They literally just erased 100k miles with no warning or reason!! That’s complete garbage and this app is trash and it’s ran by complete scammers.

I can’t claim my travel

I don’t know why but I can’t claim my travel miles for a long time. I took a plane but I can’t claim that travel as well. The app always says dismiss, that’s something went wrong.
