App doesn’t recognise subscription

Signed up and after the first video got prompted to sign in. Restoring the subscription didn’t work. Looking at previous reviews this has been going on for 2 years

Poor business practices

My child was absolutely LOVING Cosmic Kids, however, they have been horrible to work with when a billing issue occurred. Despite providing multiple receipts and proof of payment through the app store, they refuse to take ownership or work to activate subscription or prorate my costs after a month of lost services on a paid in full annual subscription.

Incredibly disappointing experience and waste of money as I continue to fight to make it right. Hopeful this review will help drive action to improve their processes.

we love cosmic kids app

Jamie's wonderful talent for storytelling and engaging while doing yoga has kept my 3 year old highly interested and loving the app. the other great part is all the content is suitable so makes the app a safe space rather than trawling through the internet.

Nice app, but careful about signing up!

My little boy enjoyed the yoga and I I decided to try the trial. But once signed up I couldn’t see how to cancel it - you can’t do it through the app, and I couldn’t see it on my App Store. Eventually found out they make you send a separate email - only discovered this months later and they refuse to refund me, so beware!

Hi OllyOxford, I'm sorry to see you had issues cancelling your subscription. If you signed up through Apple, then you should be able to manage your subscriptions by visiting your settings, then Apple ID > Subscriptions. Or search 'subscriptions' on your iphone navigation. This is where you can cancel any app free trial or subscription. Because our app doesn't collect any user data (to protect the data of children), we're not able to see which account uses or doesn't use the app. This is why we're not able to refund people on that basis. Of course if we could see that someone hadn't used the app then we would refund them, but because we're not able to see that information, we can't manage refunds in this way.

Love it

My kids love cosmic kids yoga, and we’ve been watching videos for several years. The app is worth the cost to us because there are no ads, the content is easy to find and always available, and there are SO many fun extras (like the zen mindfulness series). Keep up the great work!

Well worth the yearly fee

My autistic daughter adores this app! She is diabetic and She uses it every day to regulate her blood sugar levels. Whenever her blood sugar goes up, she does a couple yoga adventures to bring it back down. She loves Jamie and all the stories she tells. We highly recommend this app to get all kids moving and healthy!

So much fun! Helps me get my workouts in

My preschooler and I love the yoga “adventures” on here! At least three days a week, we get out his yoga mat and mine. He does cosmic kids while I do my strength training. I also love that they work in mindfulness and emotional intelligence throughout the sessions. At this point I think he’s done (and loved) every video… which brings me to my only gripe. For a paid subscription, it’s not updated very frequently. I only recall handful of new videos in the year or so we’ve been using the app. Heck, I’d happily pay $5 more per month for a new “yoga adventure” every week.

Amazing teaching and parenting tool!

I have been using Cosmic Yoga videos for years now and I am so thrilled to be using the paid app now. The exclusive and new content is always better than the last. Jamie has a finger on the pulse of what is exciting and engaging for kids. My students and children are eager to jump in and try with the videos and feel successful because she scaffolds and explains everything in a way that kids of all ages can follow or find engaging. I love to leave this as a sub plan for when I'm absent from school and print-out plans make it easy to follow for anyone and extends the lesson with coloring sheets, etc., for a low price if you wish. Mindfulness for children is incredibly important and Jamie and team are so gifted at doing it well. 5 stars!!!

Fantastic

We use this app just about daily in our house. It is well organized, easy to navigate, and full of some of the best children’s mindfulness and yoga exercises available. Our kids love the yoga adventures, and we love that they are building real yoga and body awareness skills. The sleep stories and Peace Out exercises have become a staple of our bedtime routines, and it’s wonderful how they are teaching relaxation techniques that will stay with our kids throughout their lives. This is an all-around excellent tool for introducing children to skills that last a lifetime.

Amazing app to do yoga with your kids

We love the app as a family. The content is fantastic and we love doing yoga together. Our favourites are the yoga episodes based on stories, so that we can do yoga poses to our favourite books and stories! We also loved the yoga superheros episodes for mental health, such a great resource to make our little ones more resilient. We also loved the more active episodes like the super yoga episodes which are like video games. My son absolutely loves doing yoga watching these videos and there is so much new content we can still do and explore together. Amazing app!
