Confusing questions

My experience speaking to the nurse while her demand was excellent and informative! However the questions leading up to the video appointment were very confusing in regards to the nature of our request, which was for setting up a Covid test for travel. It might be best to have some sort of explanation that indicates that the nurse will be setting up your appointment for that test instead of seeing you for some kind of problem.

Tele health

Very convenient but had no sound. Fortunately Doctorcalled my phone, but had use 2 devices to make it work!

Dropped appointment

Uncertain if this was a technical issue or not, but I had an employee screening setup that dropped as soon as I was about to connect to the provider. Frustrating to wait for 2 hours, only to have the rug pulled out from underneath you like that. It worked the second time.

Dr. Deborah Bethards

This was my 1st visit with Dr. Deborah Bethards. She was pleasant to talk with and knowledgeable about my medical history which put me at ease. I also experience feeling comfortable with her suggestions for my future health needs.

Phone appointment

Dr Bernstein is my favorite doctor. He listens to me, n knows me n my issues, which is great because I’m a tad complicated. He knows when I’m good n when I’m bad. I never worry he doesn’t hear my concerns. Medically he’s a terrific doctor n he will stand behind me n if I disagree or another doc feels I’m wrong, he will either express his confirm or let them know they are wrg..
I would recommend him to anyone as a great doctor n professional. He’s kind great bedside manner, n he’s the real deal. He’s positive, yet honest, n knows me, n I him.
I know he would be difficult to replace. I pray I have him as my doc till the end. Doctor Bernstein is my lifesaver!!!

Easy to use

I’ve been a PSH patient for as long as I can remember and this is by far the easiest way to get in contact with doctors for virtual visits. You enter your info and a dried description and are quickly paired with a physician.

Reassuring

Process was simple, clear to see and hear. Felt I could ask any question as I felt more relaxed being comfortable at home.

A needed and excellent service

Thank you, Penn State Health, for providing COVID travel testing services. The RN with whom I spoke to set up my appointment was extremely helpful, very positive and answered all of my questions.

Doctor number missing. Urgent care provider info missing.

No way to contact the doctor again. No number for the doctor or urgent care in case parents or kids or pharmacist has questions regarding meds. A new consultation is additional money. If you give wrong email, you will never get any info or prescription.

Great when it works

I have Health on demand app and whenever I get an appointment scheduled through my provider, I would think the app would allow me to click into my appointment. However you must wait for an email and then click on the link and then the link doesn’t always connect to the appointment. The only way I was able to do my HealthOnDmnd was through my cell phone. It worked but it took me over 40 minutes to get connected & I missed my appointment. Fortunately my provider was willing to see me anyways.

Ugh it’s so frustrating for a top rated institution to have such lousy IT…I’m an employee & can verify that many of the programs & platforms are antiquated by comparing the sites with other companies whose products are so much more efficient!!!
