This program does not allow quotes to be created on each asset by the techs using SimPro mobile.
Which, is an extremely frustrating fact and holds back this system from being truly great.
The end goal of any businsss is to drive more business and thus money. Software is suppose to make this process as easy as possible.
Information collected on each asset takes time and it should be simple to click on an asset and then create a quote for said asset. If not, there is risk of inputting incorrect information while creating the quote and more importantly - the redundancy of moving information from one part of the program to another.
Furthermore, ideally a tech should be able to click on and asset during a preventative maintenance and then see a history of work orders, repairs, quotes, etc.
In the end - please make creating quotes as simple as selecting an asset within a given site. If not, I’ll be heading back to Service Titan or Tech Anywhere.

Mess.
Dates and times are a disaster currently. Also bugs random closing and location service issues. With a bug that makes descriptions box small.
Mixed feelings
I was having issues with renaming attachments but this has been fixed for me.
Sorta feels like the devs are directionless. Why would you replace the date selector with something that takes longer to load and requires more clicking to use? It’s a step backward from the snappy old one.
All I want is missing features. I can see and click into attachment folders but am unable to create, rename or delete them from the app.

Your new calendar is broken
The trick is to pick three days ahead
Problem.
When I go to the calendar to select the day I’d like to view, it will show two days before the day I selected.
Ratings are worthless
5 weeks ago it has a rating of 2.5 now it's 4.3, go figure. Yet nothing has changed. It's still has many problems.
Have made the decision to quite from Simpro, to many issues and nothing is done to resolve them.

This app is a disaster.
This app is a disaster. Super unintuitive. Difficult to navigate. Cannot even browse pics from a job. No miniatures till you open a pic, so you don’t know what’s in it. Literally you open one, close it, open another, close it, no swiping no nothing. There is a little delay from when you click a pic and till it opens, maybe like a .5 sec but all you do you wait. Like windows 95. Most of the time they don’t load, like there is a problem on simpros server side. Try to navigate through a calendar, let say you are looking for something in you calendar, every time you quit a day you looked at, it puts you back to the actual today. Haha, seriously. When signal is lost, for example in an underground car park, it stops counting your work time. Same applies when you leave your working location. Let say you have to go to merchants and get your materials, get your phone out, click journey, you got to merchants now? Get your phone out again and click you there, got back? Get your phone out again and click again to end your journey. All you do is you click on your phone.
And don’t listen to devs or sales people that they are working on it, it’s been like this for years now.
So, employers, if you want to put an invisible chain on your employees legs, piss them off big time, there you go. There will be fights for every 30 minutes lost, when you want to produce your timesheets with the app, multiple times a week, cos they didn’t click something somewhere on the app and lost time. I seriously don’t understand where does this high rating come from.

What an app
Throughly happy with the app and what a great support team, couldn’t be better!
Slider for time input
Input for the time (the scrolling UI) seems to be hit or miss. I would make sure it is 9:00 for example - press done - would show 9:30 instead - click on time again and it still shows 9:00 - press done - now it shows correct 9:00. This happens too often and is extremely frustrating and time consuming. iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 17.2.1
