Wifi connection critical failure
After four days of patient and methodical troubleshooting, it appears there’s an issue within the app preventing connection via wifi or Bluetooth. Both feeders worked perfectly up until four days ago when my router was accidentally unplugged. Since the router has been brought back online all unique attempts to reconnect the feeders and re-add them to the app have failed.

Scam - No Support
The device worked perfectly for the first few days. Then all of a sudden an app update came out and the app will no longer connect to the device. Tried on multiple devices only to get the same result. Support won’t respond.
No problems ... happy pets
Quickly and easily registered and connected to my device. The app does everything I expected it to do. So far no issues... all functions appear to work well.
Give it a chance!
The app reviews almost turned me away from this product. I gave it a chance and was amazed at how good it worked so I ended up buying two for both my pets.
Common sense is required to setup the app. You need 2.4Ghz wifi.. I assume most people who gave negative reviews have no idea what they are doing.
Dogness server that authenticates your credentials is down but you can still register so get over that.
The firmware update for the unit will always fail the first run, but second try has worked fine on both my units.
Alexa integration doesn’t work in Australia as the skill is only in other markets.
But over all this has saved me time. And feeds my animals every day without fail.
I set schedule and it plays my audio file and deploys the food.

Don’t Buy a Dogness Product
As of November 2020 the app doesn’t seem to work and won’t allow devices to connect. If the app doesn’t work, the device is useless. The phone number for support is disconnected.

Cr-App and zero support
Got the feeder. After an extensive setup / troubleshooting session got it working. Seemed great until I forgot my password. Tried to reset using their verification code to text feature and it won’t send to my phone. Just get an error message from their app saying it’s failed to send the code. Try to reregister but I can’t because my number is associated with the account. Called their customer support and it goes direct to the voicemail of ‘Michael Woo’.
No troubleshooting hints or guides on their website. Incredibly frustrating experience

Doesn’t work, no help
Just bought the DOGNESS AppFeeder, which doesn’t appear to work without the app. Unfortunately, the app doesn’t appear to work full stop. I can’t get through the registration process so the whole product is useless. Have been googling for ages trying to find help (the URL in the instruction manual doesn’t exist). Am now giving up and returning to get a refund.
