All of a sudden they are making you pay for HD video! In addition the Home Screen doesn’t show you the camera but instead a bunch of their other products. Won’t buy this brand again.

Bought the Smart Cam Treater T03 an d it worked in colour video for a day then B&W there after. If you turn it and on again it will go into colour video mode for a short while. The worst thing is as of Nov 2024 the greedy so n so’s are asking for a monthly subscription for HD video!!!!! Why??? Money, that’s why! This and all there products are now going into the bin and I’m feeding manually. Hope this helps someone before they buy.

Not a reliable way to feed your pet
If you think this app works well, you’re a new user in for a nasty surprise. Ask anyone who’s had it a while, it’s essentially completely useless for it’s intended purpose. Chose the feeder over better brands because of the camera, but if I had it to do all over I’d get a reliable auto feeder and a separate pet camera. The unreliable app makes this one total junk.

Redesigned app is worse
Ever since they redesigned the app, it has been much worse. I made the mistake of opening the new version while I was out of town and now my app is stuck in a different time zone. There is no way to change it, so I have to set all of my meal times to an incorrect time in order for them to be correct. Now the app has stopped sending me notifications for when it drops kibble, so I have no idea if my pets are actually being fed. I can’t figure out how to fix anything and I didn’t receive a reply when I reached out to support.

Always shows offline - flashing LED
Since iOS update - online last at best a day when pairing then offline for the rest.
Just goes back to blinking light.
Device is 1 ft from router - even if further away - no change.
Shame - it’s now become pants and not much in way of big fixes it seems from manufacturers / app support.

Feeding Plan is Occurring Randomly
Up until recently, I have loved my Dogness Device - I travel often and enjoy the ability to automate feeding as well as the video access to my home.
But, in the last month, my feeding plan is inaccurate - I’ve uninstalled the application and rebinded the device multiple times but I still have feedings occurring 5mins/12mins/26mins off (no pattern to the timing discrepancy). The Feeding Record shows my manual feedings and also indicate that the Planned Feeding occurred accurately when that is not correct.

Sign out and wipes dat
Not entirely impressed that I’m logged out of the app and my device is completely disconnected from that app and needs repairing, my feeding plan is removed and defaulted back to the two portions three times a day, and i can’t even trigger a manual feed. Between two animals this isn’t enough, especially if I’m away for a couple of days.
Other than this its a good device and the app is useful.

This app does not work
Return whatever feeder you got. It isn’t worth the headache that this absolute mess of an app will cause you.
After hours of connection issues I finally got to a place that had most of my auto feed times where I wanted them, then they went and updated the app (they some how made it less responsive) which caused them all to reset.
Now I’ve wasted more time trying to get them to where I had them.
Anyway, don't waste your money on any product that uses this app.

Good until it isn’t
I use this to feed my kitten while I’m in work, and usually is great. However a common issue is that it tells me it’s offline when I’m at work sometimes meaning my cat goes hungry and I can’t reconnect it without completely resetting it completely. Not great given I spent £80. If it hadn’t been so expensive I would buy a new one from a different company.
