  • BLEW ME AWAY

Alright, so I’m a sucker for games with pixel art, and when I saw this game I knew I just HAD to download it. My first impression was that this was just going to be a cute lil diner-like simulator, so I decided to download it without really doing any research. When I started playing I was instantly impressed. At first I was a bit worried this was going to be somewhat of an Undertale clone, but TRUST me, this game definitely stands its own. The story and world building is truly remarkable. It plays with the concept of mortality and death and even exceeds in making side characters interesting and give little back stories along with the main duo. Overall, this is an amazing game and is definitely worth playing 💚💚💚

  • This really pulled my at my heartstrings!

I got this game as I saw it as a cute cooking game and I ended up with a tearjerker! I honestly thought that this game will be just one of those cutesy cooking game, my fault for not reading the description and just got it based on pictures. But I was pleasantly surprised to see a wonderfully made game. I’ve been looking for a game with good story and characters and I got it in this. I don’t have anything negative to say about it at all. But my only gripe was that it felt so short specially after I paid for the complete pack to continue with the story. I was so eager to know more of the story that I finished it in one sitting. I wish it was a bot more longer or there could be another mode of the game after beating it. I don’t want to delete the game from my phone as I feel like there should’ve been more to it. Maybe you can update and add more characters and stories? I really don’t want to delete this game yet. And I’m the type of person who deletes a game within the first 30 minutes of gameplay if I find it boring. Again an update or a new dlc would be lovely!

  • Sad and touching.

While this game may be about the deaths of people it shows a bond. Bear shows so much love for his daughter, parents always put their kids first unless they can’t. If you haven’t played other games by these people I would suggest playing it. Like town of tides etc. you see the people were filled with regrets but they used their happiness to make Hope defeating the Evil Devil. It is very heart warming to give them their happy ending by serving them their last food, it lets them make peace with themselves. When I got this game I thought it was a make a restraint game but this game is so much better than that. I would be sad and heart warmed at the same time. I would buy a book of this for any price basically so get this game if your parents allow; swearing, deaths, adult regrets, etc. so get it!!

  • nostalgic

the game reminds me of my favorite game, Undertale. it has a good plot, the characters are easy to relate to, the game is in 8-but which makes me already a bit nostalgic, and overall the way it captures old feelings is amazing. i would recommend sharing this game with all of my friends and family. in my opinion, it’s the perfect free mobile game.

as for the people rating it less than five stars. then you clearly haven’t seen the age eating 12+. you clearly haven’t read all of the trigger warnings for this game. it’s a really good game, and if you don’t like it, then that’s on you, not the developer.

please rate the game five stars. i really enjoyed it and i searched for a while to find it. have a nice one.

  • It's okay

To be honest, this would have been an easy five star review for me. It's a good game for what it is, it being free and all. The gameplay isn't mind-blowing (you just click through a bunch of cutscenes), so most of the enjoyment comes from the investment in the plot. Which is pretty good.

For a free game. But the thing is, I did kind of splurge for the extra gameplay (you know, the one centered on the bear), which wasn't really worth it..? Compared to the first part of the game, the second part of the game seems to more heavily stereotype the characters the bear meets. It's honestly pretty unpleasant because the characterization of so many characters is so in your face. A lot of the game is like this. But the second half is somehow even more so.

If anyone were to play this game, I would advise to not pay for the extra gameplay. The first half is cute, not so much the second half. If you want to support the creators, just buy the no ad option. I bought the combination (extra gameplay + no ads) but eh.

  • Amazing

I saw this game and i didn’t read the description or anything so at first i thought it was one of those, you create a restaurant. When i found out it had a whole story it was amazing. Even though it has ads the gameplay makes up for having to watch them. Such a wonderful story and it was very interesting to play through. I’d definitely recommend for everyone to try this out because the overall experience was fantastic and i feel like it gives off a good message and that everyone has to live life to the fullest because once it’s all gone we’ll regret what we couldn’t accomplish. Amazing job!

  • Wonderful story-based game.

This is a story-based game and prepare yourself because it’s going to evoke a wide range of emotions. Ignore the reviews that complain of “too much dialogue,” it’s a story-based game so of course there’s going to be dialogue! But honestly it’s not THAT much, and if people think that this game has too much dialogue then I’d hate to see how they react to having to read an actual book.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this game. It’s well made and you can tell the developers really put their heart into creating it. The ads aren’t bad at all (most of the ones I got were only 5 seconds long) and after a few minutes I was so into the story that I barely noticed the ad banner at the bottom.

My only complaint is that the base game is too short; I would’ve loved to have more characters with memory shards/stories. I’ll probably buy the sequel IAP soon.

  • Made me cry

This game is really good, I played it 2 times and cried 4 times in total. It made me feel bad for the characters too and feel happy when they were giving the bear their power. this game is the best. It’s very generous to make this free. And the ads, I understand. Same with the second part being behind a paywall. It’s okay, the second part is still heart warming to see that the dad and daughter are now with each other again. It’s also nice to see the Devil Of Nihility make a new friend and it was also sad when it lost its new friend. I also cried at the end of the second part when I watched someone play it. Overall this game DESERVES a 5 star.

  • oh. my. gosh. What?!

First of all, I just have to say I absolutely love this game. The characters are fleshed out, with their own personalities and stories to tell. Second, this music is TO DIE FOR! It fits the pixel style so well and I absolutely cannot stop listening to it. I also like the idea of not having to pay, but instead watching ads. Although it gets repetitive, that is to be expected. Of course, not everything is perfect. A spot of improvement could be perhaps removing the ad at the bottom of the screen. It’s kind of distracting, but that is just my opinion. Another place of improvement could be where the menu is placed. I personally find it kind of a bother when I’m trying to move the character up to a place and the menu pops out of nowhere. Other than these few things, this game is truly amazing. I can tell how much thought and effort went into making it! Outstanding work!

  • Touching

This was one of the most heart touching games I have ever played. The story of how the dad and the daughter’s relationship was decreasing and the moments of how it went. It was so beautiful how the daughter had drew them as a cat and a bear, and they had both appeared in the first heaven trying to bring back what had killed them.
In my mind, I thought the story went out like this. The daughter and the father were both normal people before they passed. And before they go to the real heaven, they go to a place of forgotten memories. The place is made up of their memories, but they don’t know that. As soon as they find out who they were and what had killed them, they go to the real heaven.
I have played this company’s other games and the stories were so beautiful. The one that had touched me the most was the town of tides. But besides that, this was one of the most heart touching games I have ever played. I’ve never seen any games ever like these. Thank you for developing such an amazing game.
