  • PLAY THIS GAME PLEASE

This game is absolutely beautiful. It helps me remember how lucky we are to live and that we should enjoy it as much as we can. Yes there are some ads and yes the side story costs money, but the developers have to make money one way or another. Plus the developers let us have a way to play the side story for free (and yes I did watch ads and grind for fish for like and hour and a half, but ya know it was worth it). The animations are cute and detailed when it comes to the cooking because with other cooking games they leave out a lot of details depending on the food. Thank you for this amazing game because lately i have not found any good mobile games because they all stick to the same trend and are basic.

  • very well made, heartwarming story

I was looking for a cooking game to keep me busy and i downloaded this one thinking it was going to be a cute animal restaurant game, but i never expected this game. It reeled me in from my first “customer” and i was addicted. I never expected the game to be a telling tale of souls descending to heaven and hell.

I never make in app purchases but this game made me want to see more! I purchased the entire story and became a gold supporter! The plot line itself was genius and really made me rethink my actions while i am still alive. The music is very calm and beautiful, really sets the tone for some scenes and gives me peace of mind when playing. I enjoyed playing through this game, i will be downloading more games from daigo and hopefully start supporting this wonderful team. xxx

  • Heartfelt

I didn’t quit know what to expect but it had a cat cooking and that sold me on preordering and giving it a shot. Despite the controls and extremely linear gameplay, I was touched by the story between the two main characters so much so that I sat through two weeks of waiting for fish and finally boosting through the ads.

The only critic I had is that I didn’t feel as invested in the secondary character’s stories and it felt a bit more like they were just in the way of the main story...similar feel to having to grind through random encounters in an RPG to get to the good parts.

Overall, I loved it and am considering making a purchase for the extra content. Thanks for the story, I did tear up at least twice.

  • A wonderful game,and a beautiful story.

First off I’d like to mention I paid for the removal of adds before playing. Buying the adds before playing the game left me skeptical of my purchase but after experiencing this game I was more than happy to have given my contribution. The pacing of the game was great, although a short game it really let the story blossom at a steady pace. With each story of each individual’s memory shard I was able to pull some sort of real connection or sympathy for them. Making each brief interaction just a bit more impactful. Once reading the end of the narrative I put the pieces together, and thus lead to a wonderful closing to this heartfelt story. I’d recommend this game, absolutely. The animation, art style, music, and story were fantastic.

  • Masterpiece!

This game is heartwarming and great as a story teller! The pixel art brings it to life and works very well while the plot of well written too! There is not many problems with this game in my opinion, but here is some things I just wished. First the characters other than the too main we’re bland in my opinion, with haveing that much characters I really wanted to know more about them like the devil girl and that one eyed thing we’re really interesting to me, but I didn't know like anything about them. Second is in my opinion, but I wish you would make them a little longer actually, I feel like this type of game is great for the phone and would be something that if it was just long I would pay for, this goes along with I want to learn more about the characters. I don’t really know about game designing for phone but I think it’s possible. Third and final thing is ads, I bought the complete pack right from the start, but I’ve that the ads are really annoying and I think it would be better suited as you pay $5 or something for the game. That’s just my opinion and a kinda unpopular one at that, but it’s understandable.

Thanks for reading and I hope that you are having a fun time creating games people care about!

Yes, we enjoyed developing this game a lot. Your opinion helps... Actually the fishing game we are making will have short side stories about each character. It is like a casual fishing game and nothing serious.. but it might be interesting to you. Thanks for you opinions and thank you for playing!
  • Loved it!

I saw an ad for it on Facebook, and though I normally never get games from ads, this one looked different. It in all honesty, is a beautiful and heartfelt game. The graphics were great, I felt a nod to Stardew Vally in my opinion, which is my favorite game. This isn’t a concept I have seen anywhere else, and today when a lot of things are just remakes or the same stuff in general, this game is a breath of fresh air!

At the end I was crying because the story was fantastic and it really tied everything together the right way; not too little left out so you are forced to buy DLC, and not too much where is if you really liked the game (like myself) you can be satisfied with it as is. I haven’t had the chance to buy the DLC yet due to money struggles but this will be on the top of my list! Thank you for making such an awesome experience through a mobile device!

  • Overall a pretty good game.

(SPOILERS) As a whole, the idea was awesome. I felt like the story was pretty well thought out, and even though I didn’t do the second part, I think it probably would’ve ended up quite finished. There were a couple gripes I had. The first being that the dead people’s stories felt rushed and a little cliche. I mean, if you watch a 30 second ad and the actual story part is only 20 seconds and as quick as ‘I’m working and suddenly my eyes closed and boom I’m dead’ it just felt incomplete. The rest of it is beautiful. From the pixel art to the music. Amazing. I feel if you had taken some extra time to work on the not main characters stories it would’ve been even better! Oh and one more critique, some noises in the game change volume, so I’ll have it at 5 volume on my phone and one will be quiet and next will shatter my headphones! Anyways keep up the great work and I’m looking forward to more by you. :)

  • A beautiful story

I have never written a review for an app before, but I had to for this game. It was beautiful. I saw an ad for it on instagram and expected it to be a cutesy game about animals and people and cooking. Instead I found a heart wrenching story with beautiful pixelated graphics that are just so nostalgic and a tearful plot line with a bittersweet twist at the end. I can’t pay for the next game, but I’m definitely going to feed that cat to get it. I need to see what happens next with Mr Bear and his adventures. My only complaint would be the black character who was apparently some type of drug dealer or gang member - it seemed harshly stereotypical and was disheartening to see. But aside from that, The game was gorgeous. I just have so many questions that I hope the sequel (and maybe even your other games) can answer. The man in the coat who disappears in the restaurant? The shop with the always locked door? The characters that you can’t see but can always interact with in the train stations? Etc etc. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Thank you for the tears and the warmth in my heart <3

Thanks! The one point you pointed out, about Johny(Black dude), yeah we are are the stereo type can be problematic and we are changing it. Original language is in Japanese, so translation did not work in a good way for that character. For the Nihility episode, it is a must play. I believe the impact is much bigger than the first episode. I hope you enjoy it soon!
  • I highly recommend! PLEASE PLAY!!

Words Can not express how amazing this game was. I decided to read the reviews and I’m so happy everyone cried like me. I’m writing this at 2 in the morning with tears in my eyes. Then I saw some negative reviews and honestly I don’t think some of them read the description as they expected a huge battle/ puzzle game. While I know for a fact I’m gonna remember their story for a real long time. It was a cute story and I’m happy to see everything turned out at well at the end! I’ll be paying for part 2 because I can’t stop enjoying it. My heart hurts so much and enjoyed the art style, the shading, the setting, and characters. I recommended so many friends to play it because once again I CANT STOP CRYING! I love it so much. I didn’t mind the ads, it was worth it. I would definitely be checking out your work! I hope you keep up the good work!!!!! ✨✨✨✨💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

"I’m gonna remember their story for a real long time" - This.... this is what I was dreamed of. This is why I was keep making games for a long time. Your words saved me. I really feel like I found the meaning of my life. Thank you so much.
  • Great Game!!!

Honestly, this is one of the few story games I actually enjoy on the App Store. The ideas are amazing, and I think many people appreciate the cutscenes and stories behind it. While the stories were great, I think there are some things to be improved.

While these improvements are just a personal preference to me, I think that the ads are a bit annoying. I am fine with the fact that there is a small ad on the bottom screen, but I don’t like how every story/scene there is, it asks if I want to pay for no ads. Just let the ad play (maybe at the end of the scene to not ruin the vibe) and put the payment things in the menu.
Another thing that I think would improve the game would to make the movement of the characters a little slower (but not that slow) and to have some scenes with different music that bring out the mood more. But other than that, I loved your game. <3
