My first ride on a beam
Wow Awsome my first ride on a beam scooter went twice as far than I intended to. Have been using flamingo scooters and had two crashes on flamingos. The beam is so much better because you get a helmet and front and rear brakes. I was made to feel more in control and safer. Well done guys Regards Misty

I could not find live direction option on the app. It would be nice to have one since there are places we can’t drive on and regular maps don’t show them. Other than that 👍
Not a get-away
The hardware is great especially the new bikes but the software lets the team down. Freezing and just being slow guarantees that beam will never be a get-away vehicle option.
The app freezes and stops and starts and the only solution is to delete and reload.
The cops are almost at our heels as we accelerate but we are in a 12 km zone so the jacks are breathing down our necks.
Looks like we be doin a stretch, thanks crappy app!

Not happy
Hi there for 15min we had a issue with two of the scooters where they would unlock so we lost time and money on all 4 of the scooter trying to push them and wouldn’t let me end trip

I understand as a business you have to make a profit. But if it is not possible to reasonably decrease the prices then this Service is not for me. It is charged by time so you pay for waiting at traffic lights, I did a 30 minute ride and it cost me 15 dollars, it would have heen a 10 minute ride in a cab and wouldve cost the same price and I wouldnt have had to ride myself. Or $1.30 on public transport.
The app doesnt show you how much money you owe until you complete the ride so you can just let it build up without realising.
I was thinking, oh an ebike service, it must be really cheap because I dont need a driver or half the fuel cost or price of a car.
I was very wrong. It costs the same to ride this as it does to pay someone to drive me around.

RM6 credit to pass the test
But you can never pass the test! Verified with multiple users—each answer confirms that it’s correct, but each test registers as failed upon completion. So they never have to give you the RM6. C’mon Beam, play fair.

Quick to set up and easy to use. Affordable transportation, especially if you live far from the metro or bus stop. We live about 800 meters from our closest bus stop, and these scoot out have saved us on those tired days, or when we’re running out the door late. Thanks for the service.
