Alexa Does Not Control the Tree
It took 3 delete and Reinstall attempts for the app to finally see my network and Alexa to link to the tree. When I say Alexa smart tree, she says welcome back to Polly smart tree. What effect would you like? I say white and Alexa says OK changing tree to white. Nothing happens. When I say
“Alexa tell smart tree white” she says
Ok smart tree white, but the tree does not respond. HUGE Wait of money and time!!

Voice Command Fraud
Nice tree but DO NOT buy to use voice commands. Does not work and app is useless.
Crap tree.
This stupid tree does not work without it connecting to your Wi-Fi network. That was not advertised before we bought it. But
It keeps saying connection error reset my wifi. Aahh for $280 I should’ve just bought a real tree. Don’t buy this tree people.

Not worth it
Tree is very nice and good quality, but the app is terrible. The app does not work, it isn’t worth it to pay extra if you have to manually change the colors.
Useless
When you attempt to open network settings it will only say “failed to connect, reset device”. I didn’t even give it a network to connect to? Useless feature, at least the tree is nice, but very misleading app feature!
Christmas tree app.
The app doesn’t work at all, so don’t waste your time trying to make it work, cause it won’t connect in any way.
Don’t buy for the app
December 1, 2019. If you’re buying this tree so you can chat with it, don’t. In the end, You’ll find yourself climbing behind the tree to change the lighting settings. The tree itself is good quality and it’s nice that it has white and colored lights. But not worth $275 if the app doesn’t work. Very disappointed in the app. 45 minutes of my life that I will not get back. I’m going back to Menards tomorrow to get some sort of a refund on this improperly advertised product.

This app has to be one of the worse ones around. Do what it says follow instruction and still doesn’t help any updates coming or do we need to take tree back???????

If I could give it zero stars, I would. My phone finds the IOT device but the app just continues to say that it failed to find WiFi. What’s the point in paying the extra money when it’s crap and doesn’t work.

Just like everyone else the stupid app won’t connect to the trees WiFi. It’s going back tomorrow.
