Notifications do not work
Notifications only worked for a couple weeks. Now even with deleting and reinstalling they don’t work anymore. You all ripped off the school district. I know you all see the reviews but you’ve already been paid so what do you care right? I will be writing the board and signing a petition to get rid of this app ASAP. Seems like Where is the Bus has loads of positive reviews. JCPS needs to ditch this company!Show lessMrssowells
Doesn’t send notifications
Sometimes there are bus changes and I am never notified. I only see the messages when I literally go into the app to see where the bus is and why it’s late. It never notifies me even though I have it set to notify if it comes in a certain radius. I have checked the settings notification on my phone and the notifications through the app (it’s all on) but NOTHING! It doesn’t work. It would be helpful to know when there are bus changes.Show lessheyychristina
Unreliable
This app does not work when I am not connected to WiFi. So it’s basically USELESS when I’m on the move. I leave for work before they get in the bus, so I need to be able to track the bus. I have the kids download it as well. If they are standing at the bus stop, the app does not work bc they’re aren’t on WiFi. What’s the point???

No push notifications again!
Literally would not get push notifications for a very long time. Then they updated the app and I miraculously got push notifications. Thank you so much! Now they update the app again and now I no longer get push applications. Why are you doing this to me please please make it so I can get these notifications sent to my phone so I know when my child is coming on the bus.!!! why are you guys so dumb? I have been using this app for 2 years (school years) and I have to say this app is not what it says it will do. The app ( if working ) has a lag time that completely fluctuates. It goes from 30 seconds behind to where the bus was 5 minutes earlier. I’m going to suggest that the people who wrote this program needs to take the summer and fix it. I have an idea for the future, try getting the app to actually notify us when the bus reaches the target area. Just so I’m clear, I have NEVER written a review until today. I’m hoping that you will fix the app since it does have features that (on paper) is good but the execution is SEVERELY lacking. Please fix.Show lessFirst Timer Writer

Straight Garbage
To think a school would utilize such a problematic app to track buses is absurd. I've never used a more useless and crappy app. Every single time you log in, it says credentials not recognized. Get password link resent, change password, still says not recognized. Freaking garbage. No push notifications
This app used to have notifications of when the bus stopped at our bus stop, so I knew when the bus came and went. It no longer does and this makes the app less useful.Jdpa20
Handy…when it works.
I haven’t been receiving alert notifications for months now. Apparently many people are having this issue! The app also often seems to not have any idea where I’m located and will show my location in the UK and obviously prevents me from tracking the buses. Also will have NO buses showing sometimes. The app works like it’s supposed to as long as the bus that normally picks up your child is running that day. This app no longer tracks substitute buses like it used to. I’ll even receive alerts that my child’s bus has been substituted for another bus but won’t be able to track the new bus until it enters the alert radius.Show lessHollatroll
