My story:
The short version is that shortly after college (in 2017) I was diagnosed with a giant cell tumor of bone in my pelvis. Luckily this type of tumor is benign, but it required me to go through over 24 hours of surgery in 4 different chunks. In 2018, over 1/2 of my sacrum and 1/3 of my pelvis were taken out - with reconstruction by rods, screws, and cadaver. Recently, that hardware has failed and in 2020 I underwent four more surgeries to correct the issues. I am still recovering. I love reading the daily encouragements on the storyteller app because MHN reminds me that it’s okay to be where I’m at in life, it’s okay to not be accomplishing everything I thought I’d be accomplishing right now, but at the same time I’ll be able to look back and see how things were weaving together all along.

Finding Morgan on Instagram was a game changer. That lead me to Storyteller and couldn’t get it fast enough. Morgan’s words and artistry has helped me to get on a daily positive path. And also help a friend through a very difficult time in her life. So many of the poems hit on a personal level that can make you laugh or make you cry (a good cry). Then find out she has a podcast! How does she do it all?! We all need happy, healthy thoughts and that is what Morgan gives. I thank you Morgan.
On a side note her team has been great as well. I was having difficulty with the app, but Ronalyn got back to me very timely and with much help. Problem was resolved quickly and off a rabbit hole on Storyteller. Thank you Ronalyn.
I have shared snippets of the affirmations Morgan writes for this app many times in the hopes that I can share the joy it brings me and encourage others to use it. Just having that extra touch in my life reminds me I am doing something for myself that is entirely healthy. I also love that Morgan gives so much with her art and this is a way for me to recognize that and contribute a little to her beautiful ecosystem. I canceled my subscription briefly after I lost my job and wasn't sure where things were going and hadn't received any unemployment but I signed up again recently now that I am settled and there were a couple technical issues with getting my subscription back to normal. I knew that it would be worth being patient and reaching out to someone and sure enough I submitted feedback through the app and got a personal email guiding me through troubleshooting the issue. Updates were made to the app that improved the experience and fixed my issue. I'm really glad to have the daily notifications back and I'm excited about the calendar that Morgan is offering for 2021 through the storyteller subscription.

I am so glad to have found this app in 2020, even if it was in September (better late than never). I am a better person because of it. I have made strides in my mental and emotional well being journey with this app. This has become a part of my morning routine where I read the message after I wake up and make my coffee. I then journal and meditate.
The messages are short and sweet but incredibly inspiring, thought provoking, and powerful. Numerous times I have read a message and had to sit there and really reflect before I was able to move on with my day. The artwork is also beautiful!
I thought my app was broken because it wasn’t refreshing. I reached out to the support team (shoutout to Jesse) was incredibly prompt and helpful in her responses. Turns out, I had just not restored my purchase.

When this app came to be, I downloaded right away. Starting out with the free version, I loved the app. I then ended up buying the premium subscription and it made the app even better! I adore the daily messages, devotions, and reminders which pop up on my phone at random times.

The Storyteller App is a wonderful addition to my morning routine. I love reading the morning message while I sip a cup of tea and mentally prepare for my day. It’s a grounding practice that I highly recommend, especially if you usually start your day with scrolling through social media. The shift to reading a positive message first thing in the morning has been really helpful for me. And the artwork is beautiful. I definitely have one of the wallpapers saved as my lock screen, to remind me to breathe and be compassionate toward myself. Check out the 7 day free trial if you’re not sure. Absolutely recommend! This is the best purchase I’ve made this year. I started following Morgan on Instagram which led me to this app. The past couple of months have been a really rough time and this app has become a part of my daily routine. Her words have helped bring some light in the darkness. I love the downloadable screensavers and the daily encouragements are awesome.

I first saw Morgan’s work our more precisely her gift on social media. Her words brought me such comfort and encouragement at a time when I desperately needed it a little over a year ago. When I learned that she had the Storyteller App, I immediately downloaded it and chose an annual subscription. I have found that Morgan’s gifts of hearing and seeing are so beautifully translated into the language of the heart through her art and writing. She has the uncanny ability to put this language to words in such a way that you are encouraged, comforted and seen. If anything this review is understated.
