Avoid as there are better alternatives for business

I’ve been a loyal customer for 3 years, but out of nowhere, Revolut decided to close my account. Despite responding promptly to their repeated inquiries, they still went ahead with the closure. It feels like my account was too small for them, and they chose to ‘optimize’ by cutting me off.

To make matters worse, their customer service representatives were rude and unhelpful. They kept pointing to their terms of service, which essentially give Revolut the right to close accounts at their discretion. Very disappointing experience.

DATA protection breach

AVOID****

When trying to cancel numerous data protection and miss use of information acts where broken. They even asked me to send a selfie with my ID on a LIVE chat before they would speak to me.

They asked for various account details also on the LIVE chat even though it clearly states never to provide such information.

Be very careful before you give these people you’re details.

5 Star Banking

I am new to Revolut business, always only used it for pocket money transactions.
I just started a company and needed to open a bank account quickly. The main Irish banks were going to take weeks, I didn’t have weeks. On advice I went with Revolut and I am very happy. It took one hour on Sunday to set it up. This app based bank really works. I have found it all so user friendly . Transactions and receipts all kept together . The app is intuitive, security is instantly letting me know of any transactions and I am a very happy customer.

Incredible, fast solved any issues

All is so good, daily reports, unlike others you know who green logo who actually stole my money and I had to complain to get the basic statements after the green giant blocked my accounts, biz n private, for no reasons!!!! This solved my situation in minutes and provided a refund. There was also an issue with a business service provider some months ago and the whole process of raising and following the issue was outstanding. It’s an outstanding company, convenient, reliable, technology.

Awesome

I’m very pleased with both my personal and my business Revolut accounts. They’re my main accounts currently and I use them daily. Everything is smooth, customer service has been helpful the few one or two times I needed them. My personal experience: very good!

Insane fees

Revolute charge me 7% on a same currency international transfer, which is absolutely crazy. Not recommended for business with US. Going elsewhere.

Frustrating Experience with Revolut Business Account Setup

This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I attempted to set up a business account for my new company in the UK and faced numerous issues during the sign-up process. Despite providing my share codes as proof of residency—since I don’t have a visa—the system repeatedly failed to recognize them, even though these codes work on multiple platforms. The support team asked for the same information multiple times for 4 days!, claiming it didn’t work, which was incredibly frustrating. I even provided them with a step-by-step guide on how to process the codes as was requested, yet they still failed to resolve the issue. There were also persistent problems with uploading documents, adding to the confusion and delays. When I requested a complaint form, I was abruptly blocked from the app and informed that I could not open a business account at this time. This entire ordeal has been nothing short of torturous. It’s truly disappointing, especially since I was looking forward to leveraging Revolut’s favorable exchange rates for my international customers. The overall incompetence has been disheartening.
