So much more affordable than Audible!
I love Chirp. Itβs a great way to buy audiobooks you think youβll like but arenβt sure so are wary about pay a lot. Prices range widely β when I decide I need more to listen to, I usually see several (okay, like maybe 10) that look promising or that Iβve always had on my mental list at ridiculously good prices, treat myself, and have a stash to dip into whenever. This includes both classics and best-sellers for a couple dollars apiece. Itβs insane. You wonβt always find a specific book on sale but youβll always find ones you want on sale. Itβs VERY fun to browse and the app is easy to use. Other Chirp customers provide book reviews but if I want more info I check on other book review sites but come back to Chirp to buy. Finding Chirp (when I Googled where buy affordable audiobooks) was a very happy moment for this avid reader/listener and the shopping experience did not disappoint!:)

Unuseable on mβy iPad
Thanks a lot. The new update requires IOS 16 or later, and my iPad will only update to IOS 15.8.3. This means I will be unable to listen to all the books I have bought, and will even be unable to listen to the end of my current book. I am not happy. Maple Tree 43 And another thing. I have tried 9 nicknames and it keeps telling me Β« That nickname is taken. Try another. Β«

Still Decent Was Better
I liked being able to track my time listening and that option is gone. Iβd like to see you bring that back. A filter by publication date would be handy. When you download a series or a bundle, you have to figure out the order because the app orders them by download date/time.
To those reviewing books on the app review, please stop. It makes you look foolish.
To those complaining about the app βnot being freeβ it is free. The app costs $0.00 but the books cost. Oh no! Someone expecting payment for their creative material? The audacity of the author! No one writes stories with no expectation of being paid for their labor. Get over it. It makes you seem petty and cheap. Plenty of books under $3 and many series first installments are actually free. You just have to take some time and look for them.

Good Selection
Very good deals and easy to navigate.
Best deal around!!!!
If you love listening to audiobooks then you found the right place to do it, and certainly at the right price.! Every day new deals abound. I enjoy listening to old time radio shows, and many a day they have them on sale for two dollars or possibly three dollars when the regular price is up to $22 or more.! This makes listening to Old time radio not only a pleasure but pure joy!!! They also have other categories of books that run on sale for 30 days or more, so if you think you might enjoy a book but Iβm sure? Then at least you have 30 days to go back and get it before it goes off sale. Many books run anywhere from $.99 to five dollars. At any point if you have trouble you can always email customer service, I have done this a few times and they have always been very helpful and have gotten back to me right away. At any rate to make a long story even longer if you are not using Chirp for all your audiobook needs then you are missing the boat!!!! Hurry up and climb on board.

Books are great, but App is not
I have enjoyed listening to the books I have bought on Chirp. It has good choices on books on your interests. However, I have had many problems with the App which has made the experience of listening to audiobooks less enjoyable.
Arguably the best book I've ever read
I was captivated from beginning to end on several levels. As a sci fi it has to be among the best. As a thriller, extremely exciting. As a piece of literary writing, stellar. Philosophically, fascinating. I love Harry and enjoyed his progress through his many lives, with affection and satisfaction. The relationship with his nemesis was one of the most complex and real of its kind. The gentle visits with history a delight. I could have taken more. The narrator is the most skilled I've ever experienced in years of listening. I saw each character vividly from young girl to dying old men, from America's to Russians. From upper class to working class. He doesn't miss step once. I forgot instantly that it was all one reader.
I am off to download TRUTH. Same author, same reader and if it is half as good I'm in for a great time.

Chirp Books
Great deals and great service
App is making it hard to listen
I canβt tell if this is any good. Every time I go back to it it starts at the beginning and it is very difficult to fast toward. Sorry
Chirp is Great But App Could Be Better
I like Chirp, and they do offer some good deals on certain audiobooks. However, the biggest feature missing from the app is the ability to search for available audiobooks and play previews. Chirp could be made similar to the Google Play Books app which has both the search and play previews. You can still leave the purchase of audiobooks to be via the website, and hence avoiding the Apple 30% charge for allowing purchase inside the app. Unless, Iβm missing something? Thanks
