  • Great app, when it works

I love the concept of this app and all of the services is can connect you to. The only problem is that it can be glitchy. For example, I tried to submit a graffiti removal request and it will not allow me to select an address.
  • The map doesn’t load, another reflection of the b- work thats done around here…

It’s impossible to submit a request for a pothole to be repaired because the map times out. I have strong wifi so I suspect it’s an issue with your map vendors API. Why not simply use google maps or map box like the rest of the world? Please just do standard things and make standard choices with your tech vendors and you’ll be fine. You’re actually costing the city more and making citizens less happy by nickel and diming your vendors during your RFP selection process which leads to buggy software that doesn’t work at all for the tasks that citizens are trying to help you out with so you can crowdsource the management of the city with 311.

  • Would be extremely useful if some bugs were resolved

I appreciate the amount of information on the app - the “learn more” pages for service requests is super helpful for example, and I recognize that a lot of work probably went into building this.

However, there are a few things that need improvement for this app to be truly useable. I experienced a lot of issues with confirming my email. It resolved eventually (that is, after trying to confirm my email but being unable to load the page after clicking the link in the email, a few months passed and randomly I managed to reset my password and successfully log in) but it shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place.

The app also doesn’t keep me logged in, which is annoying. There are no options to stay logged in.

I also am unable to follow requests. When looking up a service request number, pressing the “+ Follow” button collapses the open request but does not add it to my “following” list of requests.

Could be a great city services app. Hope it will be, sooner rather than later. God knows we pay enough in taxes!
