  • Awful experience

    Support team does not back you up, hired a shoveler for one time and they did not do the job accordingly. Really sad and a waste of money. Update: the company personally emailed me to give me a full refund of the $75 I paid but lowered it to $25 if I removed my review. You guys are crazy and entitled. Not only your worker’s service is awful but so is your team. Do better for your own sake. After my experience I then had to remove the rest of the snow and ice that was stuck on my car, I couldn’t open my car door nor my trunk that took me a whole hour myself. Luckily I’m young to do so but imagine if I had a disability or I was old?? and you treat me like this?? Images do no justice for ice blockages and if you think a silly little swipe to the windshield really does the job for me to be able to get in my car you must not know a thing or two about cars at all. Really sad that you do not treat your customers with respect, please retake a business class or general education please.

To address this issue, we issued you a 35% refund on the job cost as a gesture of goodwill. While we understand your disappointment, we firmly believe in shovelers receiving fair compensation for their efforts. Therefore, we couldn't provide a full refund, as the shoveler dedicated time and energy to completing the vast majority of the job. We genuinely tried our best to rectify the situation and ensure your satisfaction. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we'll use it to improve our services further.

  • Depressing

    I used to love this app , this was a main money maker for me through hard times very good pay I used a shovel and got jobs done super fast , so as the snow is coming down I’m like perfect time to hop back on the app and make some extra money! I been logged in for over a week there hasn’t been many jobs and the competition is crazy now ! There hasn’t been much snow so I’m not surprised by that part, But I just went to go and try to accept a job and it says become a premier member to accept job????? What I have to pay now to pick up gigs? I recently tried to get a gig and it says job accepted by another person so I am just now seeing that I have to pay to work???? Have they become greedy? Did they realize that there’s so many people on the app that if they charge every shoveler they can make extra money? What is happening to the world why is everybody becoming so invested into making the most money possible instead of caring about loyal supporters ? I don’t understand!!!! This makes me really sad

    Thank you for your feedback. We introduced the Premium shoveler feature as a way to benefit both customers and shovelers, not as a way to make additional money . Shovelers willing to pay a nominal fee of $20 are more likely to not cancel jobs that they accept which benefits the users. It also gives jobs sooner to Premium shovelers than regular shovelers, thereby rewarding Premium shovelers as well as having more happy users. Knowing that Premium shovelers are more likely to be serious shovelers and less likely to cancel jobs enabled us to offer additional features to Premium shovelers that we did not include in earlier versions of the app. Namely, the ability to schedule multiple jobs and to increase the radius to 20-miles. In terms of profit, this is a very nominal fee ($20) and we lower the Shovler App admin fee by 1/3 if you become a Premium shoveler. On average a Premium shoveler earns back this fee within 1 to 2 completed jobs. We would earn more if all shovelers remained as regular shovelers rather than Premium shovelers. We hope that this explanation changes your views about this program and that you can update your feedback.   • App allows fake completions to be submitted- don’t use!

    BEWARE- don’t use this app!! I submitted a job today and was picked promptly. However, after 3 hours, no one actually showed up to do the work. Now, I just received a notification that the job was completed (it included a fake photo of some random location & not my house) and a charge has already hit my credit card. I have no way of getting this resolved with the app (aside from a generic email address) and the work is still not completed. Now I’ll have to fight the charges with my credit card instead in hopes I can get that money back. BEWARE- don’t use this app!!
