Love Domestika but app has some flaws
I love Domestika and particularly like being able to access international teachers with subtitles and translations! But the app has some flaws. Why does it constantly sign me out? It also doesn’t allow prefill of my email from iOS or saving my login details which is tiresome. And please put the most recent course purchase at the TOP of the My Courses list!Show lessRaejada
Choice of excellent courses
I have subscribed to a number of Domestika courses and feel very satisfied with the content and teachers. Teachers who have varied experiences and international. Very easy to understand and learn. I like the fact that I can learn in the comfort of my home. Also there is no rush to learn as it’s without time limit. Subject and content is excellent. High quality courses and friendly interface
I have now taken quite a few courses on Domestika. The vast majority of them were outstanding. And the ones that were not outstanding were still good. The platform is great when it works well. The only reason I gave it a 4* is that it seems to be temperamental on some devices (for example, on the tablet I can access the lessons but not the forum). Courses include lessons and plenty of additional resources and suggestions. I particularly like the fact that the platform is not anglocentric.Show lessskaradomar
Disappointing Experience with False Pricing and Lack of Support
I recently purchased five courses through the Domestika app, which were advertised at $5.99 each. However, I was charged $6.99 per course. To make matters worse, the email receipts falsely state the price as $5.99, while my bank account shows $6.99. This is clear false advertising and misleading pricing.
I reached out to Domestika support multiple times, but all I received were automated responses with no real attention to my issue. This has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I have proof of the false pricing and misleading advertising, and this issue needs to be addressed immediately.
I urge Domestika to correct the charges, refund the overcharged amount, and ensure promotional accuracy to avoid potential legal issues. Until then, I cannot recommend this app to others.Show less:;($&4369
An absolute hit, long time student and fan
these are the key points I appreciate about this app: -diverse range of artists from different countries and backgrounds -consistent structure to their courses, I always know what I can expect, I always appreciate hearing about the artist themselves, then their inpirations, and then their amazing and valuable insights and teachings -unlike some other online courses, the educators on this platform always do a project in real time with you, which is an invaluable and encouraging way to learn something new -as a visual and highly creative person who gets distracted or disinterested easily, I appreciate the clean aesthetic of the thumbnails and filming of each course -I have used many other creative course platforms and this one is by far my favorite for these reasons and more 💕 Thank you Domestika for making me a better and more organized artist!Show lessMagda zofia

Brilliant for Artists
Domestika is amazing! It’s a fabulous resource for artists, you can learn pretty much anything art related on here, from technical skills to business and social media strategies.
The courses are well taught, well structured and well produced. In terms of learning there’s not really any point in going to Art School, unless you’re looking for a certificate or external structure.

Payment process
The courses are really good but be careful when you buy one because they save your bank information and then they can make payment for subscription with no authorization. At the moment you ask for a refund they give you back less money. Also they don’t have a good customer service it’s just a bot or FAQ.Show lessJuFh14
My favorite craft learning platform
I’ve been a Domestika user for about five years now and continue to discover new types of crafts and techniques. It’s the best place for me to learn and try different things. I’ve purchased over 100 courses there, each one enriching my skills in unique ways. Recently, I was awed by a course on innovative materials that I can create in my kitchen using trash (like orange and banana peels, eggshells, etc.). I also appreciate the traditional craft courses that bridge the gap between our modern world and our ancestors. Only issue is a language barrier. A lot of courses are in Portuguese or Spanish. Mostly great
It’s an excellent app. Works well offline and has great quality teaching. The only downside of the app versus the desktop version is that there is no ‘continue watching’ section that I can see. If I close down the app, I have to search for the course again to go back to where I was.Eve L Miller
