  • Unfair hidden renewal!!!

    Be careful with subscriptions. If you don’t turn off the renewal option, the payment will be charged without prior warning, and no refunds will be given. Additionally, if you even paid for a year’s subscription to see if you like the service, you will not get a refund after the renewal for the next year, and they will not consider your request. The amount is for a full year, not just a month. It’s expensive and unfair. Another problem: I can not log in my account and cancel the subscription, it seems I need to reissue my card to stop paying to Domestika. Customer service doesn’t help - they just don’t care.

  • Domestika devious subscription method

    In 2024 domestika offered free access to programs for a month. There was no
    Option to uncheck this free item when a course was purchased. Then, one month later I ( and thousands of others) had a $130cdn payment taken from our accounts. No authorization, no notices in advance. Plus only bots reply with standard unhelpful email when we try to get a refund. See Facebook page Donestika Scam and Trustpilot to learn more.

  • BEWARE DOMESTIKA PLUS SCAM

    This company is a complete SCAM. I purchased a course and without my authorization they snuck in a free trial for their Domestika Plus membership. A month later I received an annual charge of 130 CAD. I tried requesting a refund via their website and chat and it’s absolutely IMPOSSIBLE. They will send you an automated reply that they cannot refund you. There’s even a Facebook group dedicated to DAILY victims of this scams. I’m working on getting refunded by my bank or PayPal but it’s been challenging so far. I’m never purchasing from this FRAUDULENT COMPANY again. DO NOT download if you don’t wish to be automatically charged.

  • Be careful you don’t get more than you asked for

    I have bought courses from Domestika for years & been very happy until now. They have implemented a pro membership which is easy to accidentally sign up for. I got caught & was charged $109AUD with out me express permission. I applied for a refund within a hour of being charge but they refuse to refund. I love the Domestika courses but I want to choose the courses of interest & purchase individually. I am not & never was interested in a year subscription. Read more at #domestikascam

  • Charged My Credit Card Without Consent

    This company recently charged my credit card without consent. They’ve done it to thousands of other people too. Do a quick google search for Domestika scam, or check TrustPilot before dealing with these people.
  • Excellent

    Brilliant opportunity to acquire more knowledge. What would be even better if one could compile a wish list and favourite courses for eventual later purchase. Course content is really high quality. I will test the English subtitles later on today.

    Update. They are pushing the Plus subscription so much that in the app I could not sign in today only by pretending to want to buy a course. The sign in tab disappeared. Crazy. Please sort the app.

  • Good content, poor user experience

    We’ve found some really good instructors on here, some less so. The student reviews are typically a pretty good guide. My aggravation is the app’s lack of understanding that many of us do NOT want courses in other languages, will NEVER take a course in another language, and do NOT want them to keep emailing us “great new courses” that we get all the way to checkout and have to remember “oh wait - let me make sure this is in English before I buy”. My settings say English. I’ve had to cancel two courses for language when we first started on the app. And yet today I get an email with three “new courses I would like” and two of them are in a foreign language. I doubt we are unique on this? Seems like a simple concept to fix, but instead now I’ve had to just turn off notifications entirely so my daughter doesn’t accidentally purchase again. Frustrating.

  • Amazing! This courses are a MUST

    I am a stay at home mom and I want to learn about digital marketing , photography etc. I started the Canva courses and step by step I have been learning a lot. Each course has amazing content a lot of resources. Super recommend it.
  • Please make an Apple TV app

    Great platform. The course are affordable with lots of quality content from talent all over the world. Just wish they had an Apple TV app so I could follow along from my TV.
