Love it!
I had been looking for a summer project for Uni break and Domestika has provided a wide selection for everyone. My only complaint would be that I can’t use the comment function inside the app and I have to go to the website to do so, that or I simply can’t find it. Otherwise, it has been excellent and will definitely make sure my skills don’t stagnant while I wait for Uni to start up again.Show lessIkaila_Isles
Problems with photos in Community
If a Community message contains more than one image, it appears to be impossible to view anything beyond the first image. There seems to be no way to advance to subsequent images with resorting to logging in via the web browser.
Also, videos, if paused and exited before completion, don’t remember where you left off.Show lessRansom978
Great app GREAT COURSES!
Learned a lot! Just finished three courses back to back. Haven’t had this much fun since Art school. In fact the Illustration courses here were BETTER than the classes I took in Art school.
But, Puño was especially informative, explaining everything in simple detail, getting the best out of us creatively.
Being a school teacher I appreciated the way the lessons are given in a sequential manner. In Art school many of the instructors were working artists, but they couldn’t teach. The Domestika teachers know how to convey their ideas/ concepts into practical applications.Show lessArtNinja2000
Length of courses is wrong
For some reason the courses descriptions are saying that each individual courses is much longer than it really is. I bought a course, using the app, that said it was 41 hours long. Turned out it was just under 3 hours long. I looked at the same course on the DOMESTIKA website and it says the same course is 2 hours 45 mins long. The correct length. I looked at several courses on the app and compared them to the website, all wrong length. I’m talking way out. 30 hour courses that are really only 2 hours long...etc
Don’t use this app. Use the website instead.

Cool but Frustrating
This is such a cool concept and affordable, but I have some issues. The artists featured are amazing and the range of topics is wide. The problems I have are mostly technical, but they are crippling. I could not get the subtitles to work on this app or even as I cast to the tv. So I watched through the website which was really clunky. As an English speaker, I found it very difficult to read the subtitles and enjoy this visual medium. I wanted to enjoy this so bad, but the technical issues really stood in the way.Show lessThundermug
Great classes, great app
The app is easy to use and I love every class I have taken. Unlike, ahem, hope they are reading this, Masterclass, Domestika makes it easy to find the classes you have already signed up for and easy to see where you left off. The classes themselves are well presented. The work of the instructors is brilliant. Many, if not most, speak Spanish, so we anglophones are treated to new-to-us people and fresh ideas. Best of all, you are taught the skills to at least start to do what they are doing. Actual practical skills, what a concept. So, easy to use, reasonably priced, instructive and inspiring. Even though the machine translations get a little weird at times, I can't ask for more.Show lessBizzyella
Love the class, the app could be better
I’m loving my watercolor class!! I only wish my current course(s) we’re listed right on the home page when I open the app, and that videos I’ve started and not finished would save where I left off. Instead it only marks which classes I’ve watched in full.coralbell
Scammed!
Customer service is the absolute worst! Be warned!!! Feel like I’ve been scammed! Happy to take your money but unable to access the courses. Emailed several times and just kept getting an automated email. Then when weeks later I finally get an email from an actual person I kept responding explaining the problem (5 times to be exact) I then got emails saying that because they haven’t heard from me they consider the matter closed. In total I send over 12 emails attempting to get my money back or access to the course I paid for. Very angry!Show lessangrybird5000
Wonderful courses and instructors
I absolutely love the courses I’ve taken so far. I think the app is very user friendly. I also enjoy the variety of languages offered. It has personally allowed me to practice and improve my multilingual skills. Strongly recommend for those interested in learning or improving their skills professionally or even for fun.Show lessmsblueboots

Even though I don’t speak Spanish I am able to follow the clear and concise instructions of the course instructors via closed captioning.
