Invasion of privacy

Update: 3.0.3 still requires an account and is an invasion of privacy. If they would just drop the birthdate requirement I might consider using it. But as it is, no.

Original review: I don’t care about loyalty points or rewards. I don’t care about homepage customization or NEAR integration. I use the app to stay up to date with news and watch videos and the real time race data. If the app is going to require an account and ask for things like birthdate and location, I will not use it. Basically, I want the old app. I can’t even tell what the new app is like because I can’t get in without the account. Keep the old app and if people want the new “perks”, then ask for an account.

Embarrassing poor.

App design is embarrassingly bad. Can’t even delete the account as the email address is invalid. My review with the invalid email address Apple completely deletes. Ha ha ha! And the IQs keep dropping. Since I can’t delete my account, I deleted the app.

Another negative experience with an Apple App and Apple. Congratulations!

Now requires an account to open?

I love Sail GP racing and bought tickets to see the event in Long Beach over the weekend. I’ve also enjoyed this app for as long as it has been out. But now it appears I must create an account and give a great deal of personal info to even open the app. This should be optional, not a requirement. I don’t want my info used or sold for more marketing. What a shame; I’ll be deleting the app.

Alongside a newly personalised homepage and NEAR integration, your account will now give you the chance to gain loyalty points to redeem against exclusive rewards and collectables. Why are we not getting Live Coverage of event in New Zealand??? Only delayed ???

The app now forces you to create an account. So much for using the app. I guess it’s just the web site now.
