Great app!

Great app. Good graphics and so many options of how to watch the racing. Any thought of an Apple TV app?

The graphics are excellent giving live info on individual boats speed and their place on the race course.

Failed to initialise

Since update app now saying that I don’t have internet and not initialising. App support link in App Store only opens the SailGP website with no noticeable app support area/tab so pretty pointless in that respect. Otherwise, when it worked for 2022 events so far it was pretty good.

So deleted the app, reinstalled and working well again. Developers got back to me fairly quickly also to try and rectify.

One of the best sailing watching apps out there

I have recently been re watching the Sam Francisco Sail GP, and it is amazing to watch it like that. One problem I saw with it, there may be a way to change it but on default setting the video is very small in comparison to all the statistics. It is a very minor problem, but it would be good if you could watch it with very few statistics and more of the screen taking up the footage

Enjoy SailGP, don’t enjoy this app

I find it frustrating that for an app that doesn’t have a ton of features for interaction, I absolutely HAVE to keep the app up to the latest version in order to view the main hub. Next, I received notification that racing would commence in an hour, log in to find that it’s 2d1h… try to report a bug, or notify support, no method to do so.

So here I am reporting a bug, as well as odd app practices, as a review. From one dev to another I’d rather do this privately.

I have enjoyed watching the event live from San Francisco, a pity about the whale. The coverage is absolutely fantastic and the different cameras make your flying across the water with them. Only one thing left to add, come on RITA 😜
