Great so far but could do with some tuning

I have been using this app for approx 2 weeks and find it stimulating - and frustrating.
The 'GET READY' splash covers the animation of the next exercise completely, for the whole duration of the rest period. Please get rid of it and only show it for 5 or so seconds before the exercise starts.
The sync is out. If I do the exercises in sync with the animation I far exceed the required number. Which do I comply with
The so called 'Chair' exercises are a joke. On average only 1 of the 8 or so exercises in the 'Chair' routine actually involves the use of a chair.
Change these and without a doubt it is a 5 star app. As it is I don't think I will renew beyond the trail as I was under the misconception it was a Chair based routine.

I would recommend all day long and twice on Sunday.

Although I’ve not tried any other apps like this, I think it would be difficult to better it.
As a complete beginner at the age of 54yrs, the ability to simply go with exercises suggested is great but the ability to create your own exercises be it at home with or without equipment & weights is a step up but then you have the ability to add gym equipment which is another step up again. All this and with options to concentrate / mix ‘n’ match Strength, cardio and recovery.
Cant praise this app enough and just what this couch potatoes needed.

Good but could be much better

I have been using the Muscle Booster program for over 4 months. I primarily use the Strength: Home routine 3 times per week 60 min each. I also follow the daily Recovery plan. The program is acceptable, but it could be much better. I like that it keeps track of what muscles are weak from previous workouts and continually changes up the types of exercises to keep things interesting as well as focusing on areas of the body that have recovered from previous workouts. I also really like that it shows a person doing the exercise to help you keep the pace. But one problem is that sometimes the reps done by the person you are following is much more or much less that the requested amount. The program particularly has problem counting reps for doing twist or other exercises that repeat a left motion followed by a right motion. I believe that means that 1 rep is completed once both sides have finished.

The other problem is that it does not make any recommendations on what to do for the secondary exercise or recovery. It gives a list of other short-term programs, but it does not give any advice. It should also include a stretching program to increase flexibility. The recovery program does loosen up after a workout, but does not really help increase long-term flexibility.

Simple effective workout at home

I am over 70 and although relatively fit I was getting flabby. Muscle booster is easy to use and adjusts to my ability. It is up to me to push further. I do the exercises al most every day for about 20 mins. Feeling better after only one week. I like the feedback emojis. It helps me get the exercises right for me. Thx.

I have been using Muscle Booster workout plan, I think over one year now Do I see any difference, I cannot actually see the difference but other people can see so I think because I’m not constantly on it Every day like how I should. Maybe that’s why I can’t really see much different But what I notice I am a bit more fitter than I was before because when I started I couldn’t do 20 press up. now I can do way much more so I think if you do it every day it will make a difference but Consistent is the key so I’m going to try and be constant every day for the next three months and see what different it make for me. thank you

Please help me.

Hi Team, I’m doing some of the program every day. I hope that I can make improvements to my issues and improve my capacity. Since we have been retired we are not able to spend as much anymore. Muscle Booster

First off, I’d like to say that as I’d gotten older I didn’t really care to work out much. I’d gotten so sedentary that my mind would tell me I needed to do something but my body just wouldn’t respond. What changed for me was I lost of my unexpectedly last year and it just made me have this sense of urgency to change my ways. I initially started using Muscle Booster as a way to cope and get my mind off the loss. Then it became therapeutic for me along with walking 4 days a week. I must say that I’ve enjoyed it for more than I ever thought. I use the walking/steps feature, the chair workouts, and also the Home Strength exercises. All of this has been life changing for me and I’ve really been dedicated to continuing it because it has tremendous health benefits (I’m diabetic) and I’ve also changed my eating habits for well over a year now. I have recommended this to quite a few people already. The workout start from beginner, to intermediate, to difficult and range from anywhere to 7-10 minutes depending on the workout regime. You burn quite a few calories doing them and just get an overall good workout. It also has reminder features to help motivate you to work out and remind when it’s time to do so. Overall my experience with it has been great.

App review

Easy to follow program, some workouts are harder then others but you have options of changing to a more suitable exercise.
I highly recommend it as you are able to follow the program at home work or whilst your on holidays.
I currently have lost 15 kilos using this program

Works for me

I’ve been using the App for 5 months now and it has been transformational for me in terms of providing a daily challenge and also a weekly plan for the gym. Prior to using the app I tended to repeat the same exercises but now I am provided with sets of exercises properly targeting different areas during the week. I have lost fat and definitely feel fitter.

No complaints so far. I hope the provided exercises continue to develop to maintain my interest and it would be good to have some more daily tips or at least leave the tips on once read so that they can be referred to again.
