Latest update caused app to stop on IPad
I have the app on my iPhone and iPad. After the latest update, the app no works on the iPad.. no issues with iPhone thus far.
When I contacted WD they sent a message stating Micro Center was handling all support (which may be true for the hardware but not the app). The ‘developers’ need to reverse the latest ‘fix’ as it just ruined the app!Show lessFred4816
Isn’t great to begin with but hasn’t worked since iPadOS15
This apps features are very limited. Searches on the internet suggest Western Digital has essentially disavowed support for the hardware because they handed it off to MicroCenter. While they say the cameras on this system are NVR, they are proprietary enough that even after 40+ hours of troubleshooting I was never able to get other NVR compatible cameras to work with it. The camera quality is good. Everything else is really really bad.Show lessXcvX

Zooming on iPhone causes app to freeze.
With the latest update, zooming on iPhone or iPad causes the app to lock up every time. Before last update it was great. Please fix this bug.Samboca
App locks up and freezes when you try and zoom
As soon as you attempt to pinch to zoom in while viewing your live view, the app completely freezes and leaves you no option but to force close it. The app had no other problems until this began forcing me to rate it at a 3 now.AjChandlerr
We need another app

Issue with iOS app
It has been working but stopped sending alerts to my iPhone a couple of days ago while still works on android phones. There was no updates of any kind. I checked all settings but not sure of the reason. Other than that it is a reasonably good system. But without the alerts it basically becomes garbage.Show lessklam8080
Just Update the App
The app needed to be update. Serious log in Issue over cellular internet, kept saying Network Error where my cellular internet network is working fine. Also after login, preview screen always lagging; doesn’t matter if is over Wifi or cellular network. Please try to fix all the issues. ThanksIshtiak87
Resource hog
Eats resources like a starving bear. My phone literally gets hot using this app and only with this app, and the battery drains faster.
Not enough options for customizing alerts or for syncing/backing up recordings. No option to manage the drive or erase it.
When tapping an alert notification, if it’s within just a few seconds, it should probably just go to the live feed, for obvious reasons, but it goes to the recorded video.Show lessReverend El Jefe
