Easy setup but big purple bar
The app is easy to setup and use. Unfortunately in landscape mode there is a big purple navigation bar across the top across the top of the screen which prevents you from seeing the top of your screen.nowaywilliuseanymore
Notification not reliable
The notification on iOS only works for several hours. Then it stops sending any notif until you re-install the app again and againbancai
NVR Manager update request
I cannot change in and out of my NVR’s since I got the iPhone 11. The swipe bar at the bottom overlays the “ok” to change between my different NVR’s. This is urgent.lukebash
Needs work
Alerts work at first then don’t work at all.

App keeps logging you out
This is a great system but the biggest problem here is the app. After setting up my account and having the system running, the ReadyView App does not work consistently. The app keeps crashing and when you attempt to see the cameras from you smartphone, the app will tell you incorrect password. You have to try multiple times both on LTE or WiFi to finally get in. I could give 5 but
UI system on iOS 13.1 or above, it bad when rotate, could see purple on top bar cover videos channel, need fix. Also I would like to see using rewind movement full.

Needs more features
I gave three stars because it is rather easy to setup and install. Support is poor, appears to be from Pakistan, but they did respond in a timely fashion. The mobile app is clumsy and it is difficult to navigate the menus to setup what should be easy steps to configure the individual camera settings.
They seem to downplay the web GUI interface but I believe it could be the best part of the whole system. They offer “NO” support for the web GUI feature! It only works with IExlporer and has features that look awesome but do nit work for example email alerts. It appears to be a work in progress.
I hope they continue to improve this app and camera system.

Super simple
I had an Amcrest system that worked but was complicated to use for all of the typical functions I would utilize. This ap installed in under 2 minutes and I was viewing all of my cameras on my tablet and phone almost instantly with no other inputs or setup required! Love the motion setup and multi unit capability.

Great App and system
The Readyview system is the easiest unit that I have set up. I’ve installed the Readyview at my house, a Lorex at my parents and a Nightowl at my in-laws. The WD system and app are my favorites. So easy to install and set up zones so I don’t have false alerts.Marc3lluss
Unreliable IOS alerts from app.
Tested two different new 4 MP systems purchased at Micro Center and both exhibited loss of push notifications for Alerts within 2 hrs. Only way to restore them is to power cycle NVR. WD level II tech support was unable to help at all. This ReadyView system is a branded product with WD purple drives so they are unable to dig into the app / NVR firmware to remedy. Very disappointed with WD as this could be a nice system if it worked robustly.Show lessaq4me
