Hi there! Thank you for giving us a 3-star rating. As for the steps concern, Since this device is meant to work independently from an app or your phone (which track your steps based on sensor data from the accelerometers, gyroscopes, and compasses. The core processor then calculates both step count and activity recognition), this device, in turn, tracks it by a mechanism that requires movement.
Terrible purchase
Somehow shows connected but never synced
Clicking on firmware check would simply crash the app. Reboot the device had no effect. There were no helpful indications what so ever on what is wrong . It’s obvious that q7 smart watch is not syncing to iOS app although it records my walk/steps. But this makes it useless for me for tracking walk/run exercise purposes :(.
I can only use smart watch for other phone related things such as notifications and messages,etc.
