Confusing
I’m a writer and apparently I’m not “creative” enough for this community. I was put on a wait list and have been waiting for months. Apparently it’s how they freeze you out. Looks nice if you can get in though. Oh well, I’ll content myself with being excluded - I’m used to it.Nick06a

This is the new insta for the lgbtq fam
I used to love instagram for its PHOTOGRAPHY. But now it’s ads and reels only and useless. I never see any of my friends posts anymore cause it’s always recommended stuff. Collective has created a grid scrolling layout and a more so private way of sharing your photos and gifs. You don’t see how many followers people have or how many likes are on a post except the creator of that post which I love. No more celebrity status just a fun community to see what’s going on around the world and other peoples interests!!Show lessImtryingtohelp
Positive vibes, pleasing interface
Most new social media apps have a very short shelf life, but collective really offers something worth sticking around for.
The emphasis on interactivity without concern over follower counts or likes or comments makes posting and engaging feel easy and fun, and connecting with new users is made easy. I’ve made friends, connected with New people, and even gone on some dates!Show lessHellov1.1

Extremely Disappointed
I tried signing up something went wrong and now the app won’t do anything on my phone except take me to support so I sent so so so many messages to support to help me with signing up and they don’t respond so why even have a support team if they don’t actually respond and why have and app or services if you have no support I feel very let down I was so excited for this app and now it is just a disappointment and maybe it’s a scam maybe they are doing this to many people just to collect their information idk 🤷 it’s quite upsetting I just want to join a community I relate with because here where I live there is basically no lgbtq community especially since I’m in the Bible Belt I am just craving support and connection with people like me.Show lessjjman45
Horrible app
I wish I could give less than one star. I waited for one full week for them to verify me. They tell me that my details were approved, but they are limiting users of this app? I’ve never heard this before and that’s just not right.

Don’t Waste Your Time
So when you sign up, they review your social media accounts to verify that you are who you say you are. I get that. They want it to be a safe place.
However, after they successfully review your other social media account(s), you are placed on a waitlist that says come back in a few months because they are temporarily limiting the number of new members on their app. I really don’t understand that since it’s not a huge social media place.
I wish I would have known that there was a waiting list before I submitted my info. Trash app and not worth the time. Give this app a hard pass.Show lessNostalgic_Lies

Umm this platform is an excellent place for creative LGBTQIA+ folks to get together and swap hot selfies and network…. I would love it more if all my future husbands didn’t live on the other side of the planet.photokunstler
