Medications
Been going to Giant for years for my medications, never had a problem. They are always very nice. Prescriptions are always ready when they say they are. They send you an email/text to also let you know that they’re ready. This app just gets worse with each update.
I’m convinced they have remedial high school students handling this app. I’ve had to continuously recreate my profile because of login issues and the restart password function doesn’t work. Rather than add a renewed prescription to the existing one, they create a new script. I’ve had two months worth of meds available at the same time because of this. I’m waiting for the lawsuits when a customer is able to get opiates or narcotics in excess of what they should be getting and they overdose. On top of the inability to archive expired or unused prescriptions, each script is duplicating 5 times on the screen. Is there any QC included in these releases? And why are people rating their local pharmacy here rather than the app? Yes, my pharmacy people are nice and they’re limited to what management directs them to do, but rate the app. This app is a total failure.Show lessJust when you think this app couldn’t get worse, it does.
Another update:
Ability to see prescriptions in process has disappeared. Still no way to archive expired or one-time prescriptions. And the list of prescriptions is a cluttered mess. And now I have one prescription that appears 21 times!! It’s actually 3 individual unique entries, each of which shows up (exactly the same) 7 times. It’s astonishing to me that an organization this size has such inept app developers. Who apparently don’t even test the crap they put out there.
Update to previous review. You keep making this app worse. And now it doesn’t even work … nothing but error messages. Time for some upgrades to your IT staff. Generally, I like the app. BUT, and it’s a big but, there’s no option to archive or separate expired or one-time meds. It’s been brought up multiple times before but apparently Giant doesn’t read these reviews. Meanwhile I have a number of prescriptions that show as ready to refill even though they expired or have no refills remaining. Since there are several years of prescriptions showing I have some meds that are listed multiple times. C’mon man, it’s 2023. Every other pharmacy app has an archive option. Get your programmers working in this.Show less
