Been going to Giant for years for my medications, never had a problem. They are always very nice. Prescriptions are always ready when they say they are. They send you an email/text to also let you know that they’re ready.
  • This app just gets worse with each update.

I’m convinced they have remedial high school students handling this app. I’ve had to continuously recreate my profile because of login issues and the restart password function doesn’t work. Rather than add a renewed prescription to the existing one, they create a new script. I’ve had two months worth of meds available at the same time because of this. I’m waiting for the lawsuits when a customer is able to get opiates or narcotics in excess of what they should be getting and they overdose. On top of the inability to archive expired or unused prescriptions, each script is duplicating 5 times on the screen. Is there any QC included in these releases? And why are people rating their local pharmacy here rather than the app? Yes, my pharmacy people are nice and they’re limited to what management directs them to do, but rate the app. This app is a total failure.

  • Just when you think this app couldn’t get worse, it does.

    Another update:
Ability to see prescriptions in process has disappeared. Still no way to archive expired or one-time prescriptions. And the list of prescriptions is a cluttered mess. And now I have one prescription that appears 21 times!! It’s actually 3 individual unique entries, each of which shows up (exactly the same) 7 times. It’s astonishing to me that an organization this size has such inept app developers. Who apparently don’t even test the crap they put out there.

Update to previous review. You keep making this app worse. And now it doesn’t even work … nothing but error messages. Time for some upgrades to your IT staff. Generally, I like the app. BUT, and it’s a big but, there’s no option to archive or separate expired or one-time meds. It’s been brought up multiple times before but apparently Giant doesn’t read these reviews. Meanwhile I have a number of prescriptions that show as ready to refill even though they expired or have no refills remaining. Since there are several years of prescriptions showing I have some meds that are listed multiple times. C’mon man, it’s 2023. Every other pharmacy app has an archive option. Get your programmers working in this.

  • March/April 2024 Update

I used to love this app. However, it is often unusable since the update in early 2024 (freezes or won’t login). It’s also not very useful because a prescription is only visible once it is filled and ready to pick up. This means there is no way to tell if a prescription has been successfully sent and is being processed. I’ve had to resort to calling the pharmacy to verify its receipt of a prescription only to learn that it was on back order. The prior edition of the app simply showed the prescription was “in process.” I don’t see why adding the ability to pay for prescriptions via the app justifies making the app useless.

  • Pharmacy is amazing. New app stinks.

I want to start by saying giant pharmacy in my town is really wondering. I only have positive things to say about them.

The app for giant used to be great as well, but it was recently updated and changes were made that make everything harder.

#1. I used to be able to simply use Face ID to sign in. With the update I had to sign in using my password, and then start using a PIN. Which was fine except that sometimes the app won’t let me use the PIN. No matter what I do. It makes me use the password and won’t accept my password until I make a new password. I’ve had to do this 2 times now.

I think I may have it set up now to use Face ID again but who knows when it will require me to enter my password again which will make me have to change my password which is already something I won’t remember because it wouldn’t let me change it to any passwords similar to my old password!!

#2 With the update I can no longer see any prescriptions anywhere on the app between requesting a refill and having the it show up as filled.

Previously I could see if it was in process, or too early to refill or if there was another issue.

However now I can not find it anywhere on the app, so I don’t even know if it’s in process.

    Please fix these issues!

  • Fantastic

First of all everyone there is friendly, you heard me friendly! Have y'all been to other pharmacies lately? The take care of what ever issue and try to help you financially being the first of the year with the deductible and all! They explain any thing you are trying to understand.
Kindness and grace go along way with me. When you are not feeling well, you have to get out in the weather, and you are met with a knowledgable, kind, smiling face!

  • Always great service

I am very happy with the Pharmacy Staff at Giant Pharmacy on Shillington Road in Sinking Spring. They always go above and beyond, they are all very courteous and helpful and even put forth extra effort when it’s a prescription that’s hard to fill due to shortages. This pharmacy is the best in our area.

  • Giant pharmacy

The pharmacists and pharmacy techs and all staff are professional and very kind. I have been a nurse for 40 years and to see medical professionals treat patients the way they do makes me smile…. I see them answer questions very patiently and they get to k is their patients by name… I’m impressed!
Thank you, Gladdi Tomlinson RN MSN

  • Absolute crap.- don’t waste your time

Love the pharmacy but It doesn’t remove expired medicines or ones without refills. It’s used to refill…get the junk out. Simplify to only meds that are actually available to me. I just checked and under “ready to refill” were 5 Prescriptions with 0 refills. 3 have refills, but are expired. Make a “Prescription history section” but I use this app almost exclusively to Refill. I really like the pharmacy, but the App stinks.

I have to scroll thru all the meds even ones that I can’t get like a COVID shot.
