Great App
This is such an easy to use app! I wish all were so fluid! We recently switched our families prescriptions to the Giant Pharmacy and have saved huge amounts of money for our families medications! My only regret is we don’t switch sooner.Mauimama9
1997 called…they want their technology back
Over half of the reviews are reviewing their local pharmacy, not the app.
This app is horrendous. Old/expired prescriptions cannot be archived. They remain in the “ready for refill” section. Over time I’ve accumulated 18 expired scripts which I need to scroll through.
Why is a new script created every time my doctor authorizes refills? I’ve actually had more than one refill of the same med because I had one refill remaining on an existing script and one from the new script. It was a maintenance med and not an opioid or barbiturate, so it’s not like I’m going to overdose, but what if it was? That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Aesthetically, it looks like something from the AOL era of the internet. Clunky and not very appealing.Show lessrichphilly
Nice to have a pharmacy app
I like the Giant Pharmacy app because it makes refills super-easy, and I can also check to see what, exactly, is waiting for me to pick up so I can plan my trip to the store accordingly. I really haven’t had problems with the app at all.Kevin Maness
UI/UX could use a lot of work, but it functions
I will maybe update this review in the future with my actual star rating of the app itself.
But my local Giant Pharmacy is the most amazing thing ever. i’ve never experienced such a level of personal care and professionalism from a pharmacy. I know this has nothing to do with the app but in my mind that makes me want to give this five stars until I feel like articulating what I feel could be improved about the app, which is a good bit.
Functionally it works well. Prescriptions show up very quickly in the app after my doctor sends them. Although the interface and organization is often very confusing, and it is difficult to determine which ones are new, and which are old. Often prescriptions that have just been sent and will appear at the very bottom of the “filled prescriptions” section. I get a lot of prescriptions every month, so it’s especially chaotic for me. Submitting refill requests is seamless and I have yet to have an issue with the pharmacy not receiving it.
Anyway, thank you to my local Giant Pharmacy and its wonderful staff. They go above and beyond every time. I love you guys ❤️Show lessdirtydishesss
Fantastic Pharmacy
If you’re looking for a great pharmacy, Giant’s Pharmacy is fantastic! Their staff is excellent and personable. The hours that they are open is great, and available every day of the week. Too much clutter
Generally, I like the app. BUT, and it’s a big but, there’s no option to archive or separate expired or one-time meds. It’s been brought up multiple times before but apparently Giant doesn’t read these reviews. Meanwhile I have a number of prescriptions that show as ready to refill even though they expired or have no refills remaining. Since there are several years of prescriptions showing I have some meds that are listed multiple times. C’mon man, it’s 2023. Every other pharmacy app has an archive option. It would be nice if I didn’t have to fill in all my information to check in. Face recognition would be wonderful.

Exceptional
I’ve been with other pharmacies, but none compare to Giant’s pharmacy! Every pharmacist and pharmacy technician is the absolute best!! They’re knowledgeable, kind, confidential, and extremely helpful!! I highly recommend giving them a try! You won’t regret it and you’ll probably have a new pharmacy!!Show lessamybcat
