Confusing
Useless
Runs numbers now appears!!
I don’t like the promotions ads that just won’t quit. I tried applying but if you are not using Mastercard, all of you info is rejected. A waste of time. Distracting.

Hi Mattieuperrin, Glad to hear you’re finding the run numbers useful! Also awesome to see this app helps with your job as well, that’s definitely not something I ever anticipated when I first coded the app so many years ago. Sorry if the ads are ever annoying/distracting. It’s unfortunately something I added to help pay the server costs that power the SF Muni Buses app. If you’d like to remove the ads, there is an in app purchase you can buy via the Remove Ads button on the app settings screen. Alternatively, if you’d prefer not to have to pay to remove ads you can also download my new Busly app (https://busly.app) which doesn’t have any ads (and never will). The Busly app now also has the option to shows vehicle run numbers for all buses on the map when the map is zoomed in (whereas SF Muni Buses requires that you tap each individual bus to see its run number). If you have any other questions or comments, please feel free to reach out to me directly via the in app Support button. Cheers, Alex
I like this app very much! Please do not discontinue this app, thank you very much!

Hi Yestorm, appreciate you being a fan of the app :) Rest assured, I’m going to try and keep this app around & fully functional for as long as possible. I just can’t promise any new features so the only updates you can expect in the future will be for critical bug fixes. Beyond this, all my development time will be focused on the new Busly app. If there’s anything you feel is missing in the new app that would make you okay with switching to it, please don’t hesitate to reach out as the last thing I’d want is to make you feel like you’re making a compromise by switching. You can let me know via the in app Support button or by editing this review. Cheers, Alex
The app is really good
Worst transit app ever
Response from developer
Hi Lou Sapphire, happy to help clarify the intended functionality here. When you tap the “Buy Tickets” button, you’ll be taken to a web page that offers a few options for purchasing a ticket. One of those options is downloading the MuniMobile app, which is an app totally separate and unaffiliated with the SF Muni Buses app. So there shouldn’t be an infinite loop here since the webpage is linking to a totally separate app (unfortunately there’s no way for me to offer the direct ticket purchasing functionality in my app so downloading the separate MuniMobile app is necessary). Alternatively, you can also pay for tickets by opening the Wallet app, tapping the + button in the top right, then Transit Card, and selecting “Clipper”. This will let you pay for trips without having to download a separate app at all. Hope this helps! Feel free to reach out directly via the in app Support button if you run into any issues with the above. Alex
