Buyee has helped me find all sorts of items that aren’t normally in a westerner’s reach. Though some of the lesser promoted stores (ponparemall for example) are very neglected. Searching for things without images popping up is very frustrating and time consuming.. and also makes me feel quite wary.Brofister2020
I love BUYEE!
I love love love this app, you have access to oversea countries and they make it so convenient and helpful to use the app. I love mercari japan because I can purchase items not found here in the states for a substantial lower price from individual sellers. They make the process so easy to use and to receive. I have purchased 3 items so far and everything has been smooth and perfect. Only con is the fees can be high and shipping cost, but other than that I plan to continue using.

Fix the chat bugs
I really like that you guys have an app for this website as it makes online shopping/browsing much more accessible now that I can look through it anytime I want with my phone. However, I like to chat and ask questions with the agents quite frequently and the keyboard always glitches in the way of the chat bubble, so I cant see what I’m typing. It makes it especially difficult to send them links to the item when they need it. So please fix the chat glitchesShow lessMia O'Neal
Notifications in Chinese
I’m very happy with being able to have the same functionality in the app that is on the website, but getting notifications in Chinese when the app is set to English is annoying. Notification language should follow the app language settings.rcoldwell
Useful, but beware.
I like the auction service even though their app is not very user friendly.
And there is one huge caveat to be aware of - If you do not pay the extra cost of an insurance/checking service at point of sale, it’s possible for sellers to send anything at all and get away with doing that.
I ‘won’ an item at auction and received something completely different when it arrived.
This may have been a genuine mistake, or a scam. I’ve no way of finding out because Buyee show zero enthusiasm for communicating between parties.Show lesstheShines
No service for solving problem
I've used this app for a while. It was fine until problem problem comes up. They're not helping at all when you didn't receive your product in Japan locally. they charge you service fee for EVERY single payment, but only provide some useless customer service; the staff only tell you to wait but not doing anything to help.... So disappointed, I'm not gona use this app anymore....Show less鳗迪
Charged again and again and again
I bought 3 items through bidding but ended up paying for the shipping fee 5 separate times. Apparently it’s justified since one of the shipment failed (shipping charged for resending), and one of the packages was split into two (double shipping charge). Mind you, each shipping cost was $30+. I should never have used this app.

I love to buy things from Japan especially on plarail items and always bought through Buyee app and web, it’s easy and convenient to use and always have promotions like free ¥XXXX international shipping fee, love it, it’s save and help to decide whether to bid or not, also get instant chat when you have problems or need help , great support team!!
