It's Like eBay but Easier to get Scammed On
Tried the app for the first time last night and bid on some authentic-looking items only to find out that Buyee won't help you if you receive a fake or get scammed at all.
They also don't disclose how much shipping will actually cost. I've sent things and purchased things internationally before from various countries including Japan, and I've never ever seen shipping as expensive as on Buyee. I'm guessing they're taking profits from the "shipping fee" in addition to the other fees they already charge you when you buy an item.
When I tried to reach out to cancel the bids I had pending due to their policies, they refused to cancel them and told me I have to accept if I win. I then also learned that you get charged more and more if you don't pay their ridiculous shipping fees in time. It's been a terrible first experience.Show lessSolamora
Needs improvement
Listen, I like buyee, I want to see them do well, and they do, for the most part, but their mobile app is just embarrassing. The pages load extremely slowly, I get logged out and have to manually type my email and password nearly everytime I close the app, and frequently the app crashes.
The web browser version has none of these problems (minus complaint 2, but it is much quicker to login on with a full physical keyboard and mouse than a mobile keyboard), and it’s not viable for a good mobile app. I hope they do a complete redesign in the near future, because it feels like a web browser port, than a dedicated mobile app.
When it does work though, it’s really handy to have available, it follows a similar UI to the web browser version so I’m able to easily find what I’m looking for.Show lessPercy Does Gaming
If you want customer service, pay 500 yen more
I have been using this company for more than 10 years. Recently I have some issue with the parcel but this customer service did not help at all because I did not paid an additional 500 yen for the item. I will not use this company anymore.
I bought a parcel from Japan and sent to UK. It was delivered by the aweful Parcelforce. I paid for the import duty of £42 but the Parcelforce returned the parcel to buyee by a mistake! While I asked Parcel to stop returning I also instantly sent an email to buyee that the parcel was returned by Parcelforce accidentally, before the parcel went back to their warehouse. However this buyee needed me to submit a proof that Parcelforce had admit a mistake in black and white. Parcelforce did not care and did not response to any mail of mine so the issue was deadlocked. BUT buyee did not confirm with Parcelforce either as I did not paid for the 500 yen for the extra customer service when I buy the parcel! Their service is already the steepest and they still demand a 500 yen service fee. Finally I need to reship the parcel myself and probably have to paid for the import duty again and apply for a waive afterwards. More, the deadlock lasted for more than a month just hold in warehouse and no one care!
I would not use this again. There are many substitutes. If they don’t care you why not have a change. Bad service.Show lessSiivel

Super easy to follow
As long as you put in Japanese translations to find what you’re looking for you can find pretty much anything. I find this site super easy to follow. They keep you informed and offer great incentives to shop. I spend far too much money here!zotheflow
Just Use the Website
This app is literally the same as the website, but it is much slower to load obsoletely anything. You are better off using the website. You find that some of the functions do not even work, like a drop-down menu that won’t drop down or a button that won’t let you click on it.YouRightImWrong
Hate it
1. The app is so buggy
2. You buy something, then have to pay triple the original price for delivery or your item gets thrown
3. App wouldn’t allow me to login to my Apple ID so I lost all my purchase datazzzaaaaraaaa
Trash for new users
I can’t tell you wether or not the shopping on here is good or not, but the app is absolutely useless for new users and here is why. I have never used their website before since I didn’t even know it existed until after finding the app. When I opened the app it only has a Log In option. There is no Sign Up option. You can not make an account through the Log In option. If you do not already have an account with them, then you can not sign in to the app at all. This is basic app stuff. Why wouldn’t you have a Sign in option for people to create an account? It is completely useless for new users. It is very disappointing.Show lessD764832
app barely works for me
i love using this service, however i do think the app could use some improvenent. sometimes it doesn't load and only shows a blank screen. i also dislike that i have to double-tap each button, not to mention that the loading times in this app is not great. i have had better experiences using buyee on my mobile browser aloneShow lessilovebunny123
