Back on Top
After a slight blip with the latest film not showing, Fimo is now back on the prime spot. A wonderful array of vintage style films, simple interface and great colour rendition. Buying in to the full subscription is a high price, but now after 12 months, I feel it's well worth it, as the diversity and fidelity of the films make it a great resource

Fraud / 虚假宣传
I bought the pro version years ago with unlimited usage, but now you have to pay to use new features in the app. This is absolutely fraudulent.
宣传的是 Pro 无限使用,现在又要花钱买 Film, 妥妥的诈骗

Changed to subscription model that’s ridiculously expensive
$70 for an app with some preset filters for cell phone photos seems outrageous. Paid for a couple films but lost them once it switched to subscription. Now you can’t just pay for one. Have to pay $30 a year for “pro” to take more than ONE single photo with a film type. It’s a shame that all these apps are switching to subscription models. Soon we won’t own anything and will be renting or subscribing to everything. Was a cool app but time to uninstall.

Video not working
I paid for this and the video gallery is just blank - the more I search for ways to contact tech support the more discouraged I get. If someone from the company can help me fix this (I have paid for this and am not pleased that I can’t use it) I will amend this review but for now I say avoid.
suggestions
is there a way where you guys can add a timer? other than that i think the films are amazing :)
The best FILM app
Hands down the best film app. I’ve purchased the pro version. My doubt is, is there a way to use video film or even to import videos from your gallery to certain filters??
Alternative app reccomendation
As many of us who have been here from the beginning know. This app went downhill fast when they implemented their high priced subscription based model. I would highly suggest looking into “old roll” as an alternative app. It does the same thing with the same ui. Vintage film emulation without the $90 lifetime purchase that doesn’t even work for some people. I recently found it so I haven’t explored all aspects of it yet. But they give you a handful of free options and then you are able to purchase the films separately or subscribe/purchase a lifetime subscription. From what I see right now lifetime is around $18 which seems a lot more reasonable and they are still updating and releasing more films. And you have the option to purchase the films separately for $0.99-$2.99 (like old filmo)
Definitely not trying to kiss up to old roll. But I just really miss old filmo where they released constant updated with some yearly freebies as well. $90 for lifetime is a joke especially if people still can’t access their films after paying. They should have at least kept the option of buying single rolls.
I should have never updated and kept the old version.

Pricy subscription fee
I love this app, but the subscription fee is just too steep compared to other similar applications. While I'm happy to pay for a subscription, even if the price is higher than others, at this rate, I would prefer to use some other apps.
So confusing to use
This is by far the most non-intuitive or user friendly camera app I have ever used
Films are nice. Wish they could have added adjustments to custom your own recipes.

Way Overpriced
It seems to mimic film sticks pretty well, I was very close to paying for a premium membership or just to purchase a few off favourite films however when I saw that it was around £60 on a sale I thought that was outrageous.
