  • This was great…

…but I’m not coughing up 30 bucks for it. It was fun to but a roll or two of film every few weeks, but this subscription is such a turn off. I just can’t do it. If they go back to the old version I would definitely add some individual rolls, but no way am I spending 30 a year 😕
  • Another app spoiled by its own developer

Some of the filters here are really quite good, and I’ve bought a number of them over the past few years. I even had this app on my home screen for a long time. The developer’s move to a subscription model removed the ability to buy new “films” individually. I’ll keep the ones I have, but will certainly not be subscribing. (And for the price they’re asking, the app would also need more features, such as the ability to set image dimensions separately from the films.) I’ve also moved it from my home screen to a folder of other old camera apps. Maybe I’ll use it sometimes, but I’ll probably eventually delete it.

  • Love it but

I like how it used to be, where I could purchase individual films instead of subscription of the entire year. I don’t need everything, I just need the films I need. I would suggest that FIMO provides 2 options, 1 is purchase option for the individual films, 2 is subscription.
  • Used to be good

Used to be a great app but now it forces a subscription for new film. I was happy buying the ones that I liked individually. There are some that I still wanted but not getting them now. Forever stuck with what I had purchased before the update to a subscription model.
  • How is this not more popular? Absolute hidden gem.

I know that no digital imitation, app or program, could or would replace the real feeling of using an analog camera… but this app… for what it is, serves very very well.

And as a photography enjoyer/enthusiast, I am satisfied with this. Definitely saves me a few bucks from buying a separate device.

    Beautiful.

  • Old ver

Please return the old version. The “pro” purchasing is so disappointed, we don’t to subcribe for the film we don’t want to use, it was very great before :(
  • Forced to Subscribe for film now

Unfortunately there is no option to purchase individual film types anymore. And an annual $30 subscription just doesn’t seem worth it. Would rather put that money towards developing actual film. Will be looking for an alternative app.
  • Unfortunate

Unfortunately, another one of my favorite apps has gone to a subscription model after years of supporting each and every film that has come out. I think you should offer legacy members at least an opportunity to purchase a lifetime option for Pro. I have no issues supporting you. I am just pushing back on another subscription. I do have subscription overload as many of us have. I will not be supporting Pro mode unless you give me a lifetime option.

  • Quality of life suggestion

Absolutely love this app. All the films are beautifully crafted. I have one suggestion: A live preview of films on an imported photo. Instead of importing the same photo into each film to see which one looks better, I’d really appreciate a function where you could import the photo, then swipe through the effects of each film.

  • Seriously the best camera ever!

I think I wrote a review for this app before but I’m here to write another review. This is the best camera ever! I’ve only been using the EK 80 film because the colors on the pictures taken with this film is absolutely beautiful and makes the whites even brighter than the iPhone camera. I stopped using the iPhone camera and only used this. I’ve taken a bunch of behind the scenes pictures using this camera and it’s absolutely beautiful! I’ve been asked by so many people what camera I’m using and I kind of don’t want to share it because it’s my little secret haha
