Just doesn’t work
I tried to pair a U1 with my Nvidia Sheild TV and it will not control anything. The IR Library seems to be incomplete too as the LG TV I have will not respond to lost commands from the remote. Yuck.
Works great
Bought the X1 to replace my Harmony. I am able to control all my devices and replicate my activities. There are some weaknesses but easily remedied in future releases
Extremely difficult to troubleshoot
This was to replace a harmony device that finally went. This is such a downgrade from that one. Nothing connects quite right and information for troubleshooting is nonexistent
Save Your Money
Doesn’t work even half the time. Don’t waste your time and money on this poorly designed remote. Not only is the software garbage, the keys are way to small on the remote itself. What a waste.
Promises not kept
Their website promises that new codes will be available automatically in their database. I have an Epson projector that has never had a profile available and nearly 9 months after release, it’s still not available, even last gen models aren’t in the database. Trying to program a profile myself via the hub has been impossible. It never seems to pickup the IR signals when pointed at the right place. This has been a colossal waste of time and money for me.

As a career nerd, I hate blatantly bashing peoples work. I get it’s a process….but this is NOT ready.
Add a device….it adds 2
Add a second…replaces duplicate with new AND adds a duplicate
Delete the new duplicate….suddenly there’s 2 of each
The control buttons when navigating the wheel only send the command to the device with a double or triple click.
The UI on both app and device look and function eerily similar to harmony in ALL the wrong ways. It’s like this was meant to replace harmony, but not by being better….just by copying the crap Logitech left us with because “harmony is still the best (somehow) so lets just reproduce IT now that they gave up”
Like I’m glad SOMEONE is trying to fill the smart remote gap, but this one is a swing and a miss.

I can’t believe they sell this trash
What a waste of time and money. The Logitech remote worked 100 times better than this piece of junk. They should be ashamed of selling this with it not working right out of the box. I would not recommend this to anyone.
Worst multi device remote
I’ve tried to remain somewhat positive that this product would improve. Every update has made things worse. Devices drop out of sync regularly, the control module crashes and locks up around every 30 hours.
It’s difficult to get anything back into sync without using the original remotes.
Recommend avoiding SofaBaton products like the plague.

Absolute garbage
Horrible instruction, doesn’t work, after 3 hours of trying to connect and access the x1, I gave up and returned the remote. Could never even use the product.
Latest update broke key repeat
Latest firmware broke what the previous fixed. Pressing and holding no longer works for repeat on the Microsoft keys. Also I have to wait several seconds between key presses otherwise nothing happens. Can I please revert to the last firmware????
