Bad Software
There is simply no excuse for software of this kind to be as wonky, slow, difficult to understand, and unreliable, as this app is.

Fairly useless app
I managed to set up my first X1 remote a few months ago. It went fairly well. I have some criticisms of the actual remote, but overall it works rather well for my universal remote needs. Now trying to set up a second X1 in another room and the app repeatedly crashes after telling app that the hub’s blue light is flashing to pair. So until the app is stabilized, my second X1 remote is completely useless.

Dumpster fire
Crashes every time I try to connect to my X1 to give it a Wi-Fi password for my IOT network that I use for software devs I 100% do not trust.
Been trying it every few weeks for the past couple or months. It’s always a new problem. I’ve never so much as turned the remote on, still just trying to get the hub to work.

First impression… Junk
The software is not good, hopefully they fix it.

Do NOT BUY THIS DEVICE
First of all, it will only pair my Sonos sound system for MAYBE a day, then stop working.
Secondly, there is no ACTUAL support for this product other than articles, which have not helped me resolve my issue.
Thirdly, I have had to reset my account login TWICE within one year because the app does not recognize my email...even though I've received emails from them to my email AND I've saved the details of my login in a password manager.
Lastly, there is no option to do any troubleshooting on the remote itself. And there are options in a Harmony device to do just that.
I am fed UP!

Amazing App and Remote
I had 4 remotes to control the devices in my living room. It got really annoying so I bought the remote and downloaded this app. It was super simple to setup. It’s as easy as following the instructions on the app screen. Don’t believe the negative reviews. Some people are technology and mentally challenged. It took me less than 10 minutes to get 4 devices setup on my remote and everything worked right away. The remote does need a second press of a button the 1st time if you’re swapping to a Bluetooth device but after it works great. It’s also really easy to program multiple devices with the press of one button. They’ve made the instructions really easy. Again, don’t trust the negative reviews.
I’ve been using this remote for 8 months and have made changes to how and what the remote controls and have had no regrets whatsoever. It’s also really convenient to just need 2 AA batteries for one remote. I still have not had to replace the batteries since I’ve bought it.

Such a disappointment!
I don’t believe any of the positive reviews about this remote! It is full of glitches, unstable, difficult to program and no where near ready to be compared to Logitech! The search for a replacement continues! Keep looking because this ain’t it!
Needs a lot of work
I have the X1 at home and a rather extensive set of requirements.
The app is clunky, the sync feature takes way too long.
I’ve finally got to a point where it mostly works, the app has dropped settings quite a lot and needs you to go back and rework activities that previously weee functional.
Final fly in the ointment is that the app now crashes when I try to edit an activity, specifically changing the input for the AV amplifier.

Hopefully the Remote works better than the app
So far the app is so glitchy that I haven’t been able to use the remote (X1) for anything.
I’m hoping to eventually get there. But it’s been over an hour so far and The app can’t hardly get to a device even.

So awesome so convenient so needed
I don’t know why anyone would have a problem with the remote or app. Both worked perfect for me and love the fact you can customize the buttons with so many options and cross reference different units to work under a different toggled unit. Grabbing one remote is ideal and love it!!
