Can’t use because the app crashes every time I try to load it.
Poorly written app
App keeps getting stuck loading. Their only fix is to reload app which means you lose all data. I have 3 timers with 4 hoses each, so they are hard to keep track of and it’s cumbersome to re-enter all the data. Seems to be a bug with trying to access with multiple devices or maybe an issue with WIFI not being available, but support says it doesn’t use WiFi.

What’s there works, but it’s lacking
The features that are built in work. And they work well. That’s a plus for a free app. Where the app lacks in that you have to schedule and control each valve independently and there is no simple ‘delay’ function to pause everything for a few days when it rains. Just a few additional functions that work as well as the existing ones, this app would be five stars.

Cumbersome to use
I have 2 of these running 8 sprinklers.
The design is extremely cumbersome.
Do you want to run a 10 minute cycle of all your sprinklers, one after the other?
Go to the first hose port and then go 4 menus deep and create a cycle to start now, for 10 minutes, every day. Then back out 4 menus.
Repeat for each sprinkler. Now that you’ve gone in and out of 64 menus, sit back and enjoy your hard work. You’ve earned it.
Seriously, can we make this a little smarter and easier to use?
Maybe on the main menu have an option to run all the sprinklers sequentially for X minutes, or even allow us to check off the ones we want to run in order?
How about a smart programming feature that lets us pick when we want to start a cycle, and what sprinklers are in that group, so if I want to change my duration from 20 minutes to 40 minutes for each sprinkler, I don’t have to change the start and duration for each sprinkler, and keep track of the times in my head, while navigating 64 menus.

Frustrating
So frustrating keep having to delete and reinstalling for it to work for few day than the app freezes again to the main page and you would have to do the process again deleting and reinstalling for it to work for few days again, come on guys get it together!!
Unreliable. Unresponsive
I have repeatedly had challenges opening devices the app recognizes. I experience a loss of control. My iphone is the current top of the line with all updates. Bluetooth devices work effectively from other apps.
There are limited manual controls on the Melnor multiport water distribution devices, so this critical software app renders my investment and devices useless.

Works great
I guess a lot of people aren't able to handle a simple app but it worked great with my timer out of the box and was very easy to set up in about 30 seconds. Read the instructions if you need but it's pretty straightforward.
