Scummy advertising has overrun this app

I paid several hundred dollars for the hardware, but the app is full of ads trying to squeeze even more money out of me. And now it’s sending me ads in push notifications, which is the ultimate dark pattern and, personally, a dealbreaker for me.

Device is great, their subscriptions close to ruin it

This device was expensive but it works, at least for me. Their greed is clear in the app. For a device that is meant to help relieve stress, seeing ‘joy’ literally locked behind a pay wall gives me a headache. Based on their app, they’re focus isn’t on a good device but in doing what every tech company wants to do these days and lock you in for a monthly subscription. I do not trust them to continue to provide a good experience in the future for nonsubscription customers.

I will still use it, but I no longer will be recommending it to people in my life.

Helpful little gadget

I’ve been using the Apollo Neuro device for a few weeks now, and it’s truly made a noticeable difference in my life. As someone who struggles with both sleep and anxiety, I was looking for a natural, non-invasive solution, and Apollo has been exactly that. The gentle vibrations are incredibly soothing and help me feel calm and grounded, especially during stressful moments.

One of the biggest improvements I’ve noticed is in my sleep quality. Before using Apollo, I often had trouble unwinding at night, but now I fall asleep faster and sleep more soundly. My overall anxiety levels have also gone down—it’s like my body can more easily switch into “rest” mode.

The device itself is easy to use, and the app offers different modes depending on what you need, whether it’s energy, focus, or relaxation. The only downside is that the subscription cost is a bit steep, especially considering the price of the device itself. However, the benefits have been well worth it for me, and I’d still highly recommend Apollo to anyone looking for a way to reduce stress and improve sleep naturally.

Hi, thank you for sharing your experience with Apollo!

Faulty batteries and terrible customer service

I’ve had an Apollo for sometime and used it often with seemingly ok results. I also jumped on the Smart Vibes membership when it was launched. With in the first year of use my battery died completely while being charged. I followed all suggested customer service advice but to no avail so they kindly replaced it with a new or refurbished one, I have no way of knowing which. During my many week downtime I wasn’t able to use my smart vibes membership I had paid for but oh well, I eventually was back to using it after a few weeks.
Now some months on with my new Apollo and definitely well with in a year or did the same exact thing. I went to charge it in the morning after a night of use while it still had a charge. After some time the battery depleted completely while charging and never came back on. I tried all the customer service suggestions to no avail AGAIN.
This time however I’m told I can not get it repaired or replaced as it only has a one year warranty but I may purchase a new one.
Well had I know these are more like a long term disposable device I would have avoided it all together.
For such an expensive piece of tech it is apparently not built well nor confidently backed by the company.
I treated the device carefully and used it often but now it seems I’ve only got a piece of garbage with a Smart vibes membership I’m not able to use.

Nausea Be GONE

Let’s just say morning sickness decided to stick around all day, every day, like an unwanted guest who doesn’t take the hint. It was brutal—I couldn’t keep food down, I had no energy, and even getting out of bed felt like climbing a mountain. Work was a struggle, and honestly, so was finding any joy in life.
After trying everything, my husband surprised me with the Apollo device. I wasn’t holding my breath, but within a couple of days, I noticed a real difference. The nausea started easing up, and for the first time in ages, I could actually laugh at his terrible jokes (which, trust me, is saying something). It felt like I was finally coming back to life.
I’ve since started to enjoy things again—simple stuff like going outside and feeling human. Apollo didn’t just help with the physical symptoms; it gave me my spark back. For anyone dealing with all-day nausea or similar issues, I highly recommend giving it a try. It made a huge difference for me, and I feel like myself again.

Suggestions to company -
Improve battery life
Allow folks to get a taste of the premium by giving a 30 day trial of it (no strings attached ie no payment needed ) OR allow the vibes to auto schedule for free but keep certain vibes premium.

I love my Apollo

I was gifted my Apollo when I was bedridden in 2021. Now I am back on my feet it is still a key part of my health routine.

After one full year…

….I still really love my Apollo Neuro. It has helped my sleep, especially getting back to sleep when I wake up in middle of the night, to the point I no longer use sleep medication. The primary reason I decided to try this little device was to address mood swings and emotional regulation with stress as my body tries to adapt to the hormonal changes of menopause. It took me a little time to remember to use it and start the Vibe before walking into a stressful meeting or job interview. I can also say the energy Vibe is more effective than a cup of coffee or soda for me, and kicks in faster! I use this device multiple times a day and have been a little worried that I might wear it out and have to replace it. The app says I’ve logged over 110,000 minutes in the last year! No signs of the device wearing out, but I recently learned ApolloNeuro is now an approved medical device for HSA/FSA pre-tax accounts! And then todays update adds functionality for your iPhone to vibrate and Vibe in a similar way unlocking even more sessions and benefits! I am so excited for the extra flexibility that will add. Developers—I hope you’re working on Apple Watch functionality!

Wow, we're glad that Apollo has helped you! Thanks for sharing your suggestions! Most of the improvements we make come from ideas and suggestions like yours, so thank you for reaching out!

Clever device

Considering it just vibrates it actually has helped with my anxiety and recovery. I lost one and had to buy another one so I guess that says a lot in itself!

Game changer

I love my Apollo. I've been using it all day, every day since 2020. It helps me focus for work (and I thought I already had good focus!), recover from exercise or stress, unwind and sleep. I recommend it to everyone. I have had mixed results with the (costly) SmartVibes, which I think is down to lack of guidance on how to use it. Some help with that would be much appreciated.

Subscription too expensive for what it is

I’ve been using an Apollo Neuro for years now. I primarily use it for sleep. I tried Smartvibes for a year and was annoyed by it more than I was pleased. I like some of the extra vibes that were available with that program but it was never my intention to wear the device 24/7. I thought the Smartvibes would help with staying asleep but after a year I was disappointed that they did not work for me so I canceled my subscription. I do track my sleep every night with an Oura ring. I was disappointed that all of the extra vibes like Joy and Love and Good Morning and Good Evening went away as they are now behind a paywall. I thought about re-upping the subscription for full access but the pricing is all over the place no was paying $79 and when I canceled on Apple the renewal changed to $69. On the app itself it says “try free for a month and then $99 a year after.” I think everything the Smartvibes do you can set up with a schedule. Really disappointed in this subscription model.
