Infuriatingly Awful

Please don’t get rid of the old app, this one is not functional at all for the needs of a costume department. The old app wasn’t perfect but it’s much much better than this. I hope we can elect to keep the old version.

Negative stars

**update: Well now I have to use the new app and they have had months to fix it due to the virus and it is still AWFUL! They have taken a relatively straightforward app and made it supremely complicated and hard to follow and use. They got rid of everything I like about the old app. This one is garbage!!

Honestly they should go back to the old one please!

This version is pretty terrible. Lots of bugs. Change and character tabs are missing. Everything is done through scene numbers. Still using the old one on my production since it continues to work as expected and is easier to use.

Needs improvement

I usually use the old app but now that it’s expiring I have to use the new one. My photos still have synced from my last show and there not easily accessible categories to find clothing items, characters... it’s very complicated

Worst app ever. I downloaded the app and cannot open it. I have tried to reset the password (or just set one up) with no success.

Absolutely useless now

I never really liked the app to begin with, so when I saw there was a big new update, I had high hopes. I never imagined it would now be 100 times worse!! How could they get it so wrong?!?! It is now ridiculously unintuitive, especially if you are trying to work with it on set. Way too many steps to go through to get basic information. I’m hoping to use the old app as long as I can, and after that will probably just go back to the binder system as well, like one other reviewer mentioned. Hoping someone comes up with a better system, as this is now completely unusable.

Amazing app for costume continuity

Honestly love sync on set, this app literally has been a life saver on sets for quick continuity checks and notes. I know lots of people like using binders or truck bibles of photos but this saves time and paper and it’s great that everyone in your department can see what you add. Honestly this should be industry standard for any costume department. What I like also is that art and makeup can use this as well. Easy to use, and format is good. Anyone can learn to use this app.

Ruined.

The old app was great. And now this new app has so many problems it makes me want to both scream and cry. I haven’t the time to call sync but now I have no time because the old one is now having problems.... new app failure

Hugely disappointed. Gave up on the new app and went back to the old. They have said the old app will be no longer available at some point. I guess I will be going back to the binder system when the old app is no longer available.

Much improved. The search function for adding existing costume items in a write up is still weird. For example, I am writing up a costume and want to add the existing item “Bra” to the change, so I plug in the word “Bra” into the search bar, and the first 6 items that come up are “Bracelet”. Hmmmm.
