Very Little Customer Support
I have a checking’s & saving’s account with this bank. But it should have more customer service support. No 24 hour customer service support is not good. There’s Not even a toll free # to call for automated help, nor access to hear your your account information. I’m very disappointed in this non support for customers like me that work night’s. It’s frustrating because I forgot my user ID & I can’t get the help I need because my hours don’t start on a daily 9-5 or even after bank hours like 8pm - 8am not even automated… when your hour’s begin those are my sleeping hours. So when I start my day it’s after 7pm - 8am… & it’s hard for me to get my banking stuff done because I work nights like I forgot my online user name and I can’t do nothing about it because of no 24-7 customer service support… for many like me that don’t have normal hours like most. #justwishicangetmybankingbusinessdone24-7 #wenightworingpeopleneedautomatedcshelp #hopingformorecustomerservicephonesupport Sincerely Yours A Hard Working Nite Person With Different Hours Than Most! 8pm-8am Thank You Very Much! Love this bank!
I’ve been dealing with Farmers and Merchants Bank in Laguna Hills for the last year or so and have had nothing but the most pleasant experiences. From the Branch Manager, David Leahy, on down, everyone has been very professional and exceedingly helpful. I especially appreciate the outstanding help I’ve received from Joaquin Sanchez, Banking Relationship Specialist. Almost There
I gave the App 4 stars because there is one feature missing that would make me give the 5 stars and that is being able to see other pending credits. Transfers from other financial institutions do not show pending so you just have to play the waiting game to see it has actually go be through. Even mobile deposits that have been put on hold does not reflect when the funds will be available.Show lessIdeasThatWork!
Excellent bank App! Makes banking much easier.
My only issue is is not with the app, but with bank policy. How long will Farmer’s & Merchants maintain the records online? Eighteen or 24 months is not long enough. If every customer has to print all of the statements and correspondence before records disappear, long before those documents become unnecessary, there is no benefit to the environment in having paperless accounts.Show lessA very longtime F&M customer
Just OK… little outdated
Compared to other banking apps, it’s a little antiquated. Not as easy to use and looks too much like the web site. Mobile app should be created specifically for mobile device, not just carbon copy of web page.
Spend the money and have some top notch designers revamp the mobile app.clint.patricia
Great personal bank
F&M is a true family bank. It has a legacy of being involved in the communities in very positive ways. I love that about this bank. The app I’m using shuts off randomly which isn’t fun. It sometimes will take a deposit and sometimes it won’t. And the most frustrating thing ever happened to me in person during the worst of Covid over the holidays in 2019 when the teller that wasn’t wearing a face mask over her mouth told me that she can’t wear masks because it bothers her. Those people shouldn’t be dealing with the public unless they can follow national/state and county guidelines.Show lessShine^*^
Mobile deposit needs work
Mobile check deposit has been a miss. We use a stamp to endorse the back of checks and the app never seems to accept it.LBsassydesigner

The UI may need some updating which made me think the app is useless, but after using it for a month, I’m able to do more on this F&M app than I used to be able to do on my Wells Fargo app. I actually made a WIRE and ACH TRANSFERS from this app! Amazing!!MizaniMD
Easy to use
I’m not Techy! The app is easy to use. It always works and never fails me. I love being able to mobile deposit checks and transfer money easily if needed. I have been an F&M customer for 30 years and will never change banks!Ceisele
