  • Beautiful

This app is beautiful. I’ve been looking for one that is simple enough to use efficiently, yet has many options. I love being able to make different shelves for borrowed books, or for books I read as part of a book club. I like that I can keep track of how many pages I’ve read and what date I started and finished reading the book. You can keep track of how many copies you have, whether your book is signed or not, when and where you bought it, and for how much. I also really like the search bar function when I’m at a book store and a title sounds so familiar but I can’t remember if I have it or not. With a few quick taps, I can check if the book is in my collection or needs to be added.
    This app is perfect.

  • Freedom in the Tracks

I’m not a heavy user of apps on the phone, but I have grown, especially fond of bookshelf. Being a free app, it had the potential to be something not too sturdy, but that has not been the case as I have used over the past four months because I have a way to log where I am in several books without using random bookmarks, although I still have them, my reading habit has been stronger and consistent because of using this app. I’ve already recommended it to many friends and even a few strangers who also like to read so if you don’t already have it, download it and enjoy your reading journey, the title of this review is in reference to trains the train is powerful, but I can’t go anywhere without its respective tracks. Therefore, this app becomes the “tracks” needed for your powerful reading train!

Has stopped me from buying books I already have as I can quickly check the app anywhere. Great interface, user friendly. Fantastic free record of my many books

  • Best app i’ve ever used

I’ve been using this app for a while now about a year or two and I love it so much!! I can set the filter to show only my unread books and it’s so useful because It helps me concentrate on reading my unread books. Another thing I love are the tags and the separate bookshelves you could have.
I’m a manga reader so I have separate shelves for my mangas and my regular books and it’s very convenient!

  • A great app for readers and collectors

I have many books. Too many, apparently… But I have no books that, when scanned or searched for on this app, don’t show up. It seems to have literally everything. My only wish for this app is to make a bit more of a song and dance about any challenges you set yourself. It’s on the Settings page and it should be right up there on the front so you can see what you’ve achieved, but this is a minor thing and all this is for free!

  • Literally Perfect - Love this App!!!

The design and structure of this book inventory app are exactly what I needed for my library!! The ISBN search feature is what I use most to quickly add new books, and I love all the additional details that help further identify each book. I also really love to filter by read or unread books to see how much of my library I’ve read. Thank you for this beautiful gift of an app!!

  • Great customer service

It’s got lots of features, but the ISBN scanner is not great. It only scans barcodes of recent publications. It does not actually detect the isbn of older books that still have it listed. It would be nice if it would recognize the isbn correctly instead of the UPC barcode.

Update: ISBN scanner has had an update and works for older titles now! They also added that the scanner will work on the ISBN without a barcode! Great work!

  • Best app for keeping track of books

I tried a few different apps and systems to keep track of my purchased books. I like to get books at thrift shops and carried a hand written list of what I had. Every time I forgot the paper list I ended up buying a double of a book.

This app is so easy to use, it doesn’t pester you with any ads or micro transactions. I have over 400 books and it was so easy to make bookshelves to sort them alphabetically and to add extra shelf for specific authors you have a lot of book in.

Scanning the barcode to add books is super fast but when that is not available the app has an excellent search feature by title to add the book manually.

I wish I could give it 10 stars.

  • The App I’ve Been Searching For

A few months ago, I downloaded five or six different apps all for the purpose of helping me organize my reading. I wanted to sort books by 1) what I was currently reading, 2) what I intended to read soon, 3) books I’d read in the recent past, and 3) a backlog of books, mostly nonfiction, that I found interesting or helpful in some way. I also wanted to sort material by either fiction or nonfiction, and I wanted an app that was easy and intuitive to use, that would allow me flexibility in how I catalogued my reading.

Within a week, I deleted all the other apps I downloaded, except for this one. This one was the obvious keeper. Checked every box. I’ll be using it for years, maybe forever, as long as it remains free. Awesome app. (Side note: If I ever streamline my phone and delete all my extraneous, time-wasting apps, I will not be deleting this one.)

  • Growing my collection

This app has been really great so far. Our family is full of readers from every age group you could think of. We also all have different taste in books but overlapping is fun. Through growing our collection at home we have discovered new books that peek our interest and more books to recommend to friends and family. Our littles and teens have a book nook of their own with age appropriate books and a comfy spot to read with blankets pillows and stuffies. I haven’t had any issues with the app I even like that you can mark how far you have read in a book that way I’m not worried about lending a book I’m reading.
