No access to home network!
What is the point if it doesn’t provide “in house” equivalent access to my home servers and hardware? All it does provide is slower access to the web by routing web traffic through my home internet provider — slower than whatever web access I have already wherever I happen to be! This is absurd. I really have no need to pretend I’m accessing the web from home when I’m not home!Show lesshuedaman

Useless
This feature all seems like a great idea on paper but for me, it’s useless and here is why. First I need a code generated so that I can be authenticated to my router. That’s is great. However, and here is the dumb part, I need to have either a google or Facebook account to generate it. These are the least application vendors I would trust with my information. Moreover, I don’t have either one of them.
This all seems like a great feature but the execution of it for many will be USELESS. For those that do not have either accounts nor refuse to have them, just like myself, may as well delete the app.Show lessAppTester2019
Updated Review!!
Initially, I was very concerned about remote connection via google / facebook account - thus gave it 1 star!!
However, after a few weeks research, I noticed all other routers with remote connectivity use their own cloud servers which makes things even worst!! Most, if not all, fail basic security with their firmwares as I’m sure you are aware of! A quick internet search shows each and every vendor at some point were notified about security issues and some even ignored them for a very long time!!
So, how could you even trust their cloud servers??
Back to this app, these folks have made a smart decision by using / authenticating users with others’ servers! If they fail and get hacked, AmpliFi cannot be held responsible! SMART!!
But then again, I personally don’t trust facebook / google either - hacked or not!
That’s why I gave this app 4 stars because it works but I wish / hope they come up with another solution - soon!!Show lessi.disturbia
Need Auto-Reconnect Option
Great app and works as advertised. The only issue is no option to auto-reconnect. I constantly connect and disconnect from access points at work and when it changes from Wi-Fi to cellular it drops the VPN connection. This should auto-reconnect in this situation.Kirbo20
Incredible Awesome
This save my time, couple hundred Dollars and on top of that hassle to create my own VPN server at home. Initially i was thinking to setup VPN using PI then i did some research and get yo know about this app for my Mesh point. Now i am very happy as i travel alot around the globe so i can use secure Internet and my personal Information wherever i go. Thanks for this Great feature. 🤗Show lessBKamboj
Great feature
Amending my review now that I’ve realised that the time limit is for the use of the access code only, and not the duration of the VPN connection itself. A great VPN solution for travellers who have an AmpliFi router at home.Matt Lee B
Stupid 24 Hour Limit
It looks like you can only generate a code for s limit of 24 hours. Why? What’s the point of the arbitrary time limit. The teleports don’t have this time limit so why does the phone have to. What a waste and here I was hoping it would be good.Manguz2000

But nothing works. Can’t access anything in my internal network or on the internet. Maybe it’s because I have it in bridge mode?niddin
