  • Get this if you like LIES

    I have never been lied to as much as this so called ‘bank’ has. Worked fine depositing business checks, until it stopped one day. I had over 15k in checks to deposit, and I was working out of town! They strung me along for 3 months, telling me sometime this week, knowing they would never have that service ever again. What a terrible experience!
  • Applies the Profit First Model

    NorthOne is not really a bank. It's backed by a bank, but the magic is that it has the practices from the book, Profit First, built into the app. You can use it to manage your business revenue the way the book teaches it.
  • Disappointed

    Went with NorthOne to start my small business banking. My second month was hard so I canceled the account and pulled my money out to prevent overdraft. (Which was 10$). Over the last few months they’ve been racking up 10$ monthly fees and not notifying me; apparently I never cancelled and I of course have no proof. They would not dismiss the fees, despite there being absolutely no activity on the account. I wanted to return to try them again, but they don’t seem very small business friendly as they are taking 40$ from my deposit that I added to start using it again. Nice. Definitely didn’t need that money, NorthOne. I wanted to try again, yet my unused account is worth more than my continued business to them. Never again. Cancel via chat and document it.

    Wish it would’ve gone differently or that they didn’t bill you for absolutely no reason if you don’t put money into it or use it. :(

    Hi there, sorry to hear you have had a frustrating experience. We do have a pricing page on our website that explains our fee structure and the fees are also outlined on the Deposit Account Agreement, which you agree to when you sign up for an account. As with all subscription services, these fees are incurred each month to maintain the account. When the funds are not available at the time your account fee is withdrawn, these will be pending until funds are made available. We do also require all cancellation requests to be in writing to ensure the security of the account. I understand you have already moved forward with closing your account, but if you have additional questions, you can reach out to support@northone.com
