Fine for simple storyboards

It’s okay. Pros are that’s it’s easy to learn but it’s pretty clunky when it comes to adding props which are pretty lame, the AI is a joke, you can’t change character costumes without it changing the whole board (hello…characters have costume changes!), character poses don’t include holding a cell phone (ummm?), every time I paste in a prop it puts in a random box object… this list of glitches could continue. It’s not ready for feature story boarding, that’s for sure. I do think it’s the best option for iOS at this point, but don’t expect wonders.

Truly Incredible

I use this app on my phone in conjunction with the laptop version. The stand out feature to me is the augmented reality mode where you can literally move your phone to move around the scene as if you were actually filming. I’ve never seen anything like it!

THE BEST 10/10

Been using Previs pro to storyboard for quite a few years now. It’s a must for me to storyboard. When you get on set and have talent and crew relying on you to get the shots you need and to stay on schedule to keep everyone happy you need to know what you’re shooting, how, and when where possible. Previs literally does help me STORYBOARD FAST. And it’s super customizable and helps get clients on board so much faster with a vision. 100% recommended taking the minimal time it takes to learn how to use it and take advantage of the benefits of storyboarding if you are an atrocious graphic artist like me.

Very useful

I did the trial period and then bit the bullet. This is a very useful product on both the iPad and MacOS. In my use of both products, they’re both very stable, work back and forth seamlessly, and no mysterious crashes. It’s already saved me many hours.

After finishing a script, I start Previs Pro and work out what’s missing or what doesn’t work when the written word becomes visual. I export a video and see if it works time-wise. This saves a lot of time and trouble pre-production. It is an invaluable workflow.

The interface is very intuitive, and their short video tutorials are clear and to-the-point. A very useful app.

Expensive considering ..

This app is undeniably functional and valuable; I won't dispute that. However, my concern lies in its pricing. Considering the relatively short lifespan of apps on the App Store, I'm apprehensive that my investment, particularly the £300 lifetime option, might ultimately result in an unsupported and fading app, eventually vanishing entirely. I've witnessed this fate befall numerous apps over the years. There's a reason why most apps are priced at just a few pence or pounds on the App Store! I think more realistic pricing would attract more people.

Incredible/groundbreaking software

I don’t have much else to say outside of saying if you’re struggling to make boards due to drawing ability, this is the app you’ve been looking for

Great customization

Choosing sensor size and aspect ratio is especially helpful for planning out shots ahead of time. I just wish the library for props and sets was larger; Maybe more pre-made sets. Also weather conditions like rain, snow, etc. other than that it’s terrific! Has everything I need.
