Useless unless you’re Irish

Not incentivised to use this app if I can’t even add stations I like.

Response from developer

Hi dazgodbold There are thousands of stations in the Directory from around the world, with 271 in Australia currently. If you prefer not to pay to unlock the full app, you can still edit the Irish preset stations manually with the streaming URLs to the stations you want. Thanks!

On it's way

A simple interface that gets the job done. The desktop version is still pretty rough and doesn't seem to have all the features enabled that the mobile does(eg: Move a preset to a collection). But looks like it's actively being developed and even this rough version does the job efficiently. Love that it's a universal app for all devices.

Works like a charm.

Very easy to setup and use. Included all the major station presets for my country (New Zealand). Most importantly, it synced seamlessly with all my devices. I had an issue with rating requests hijacking my mac, but tthe developer assured me it was an OS issue. As the developer has a very good reputation, I have no reason to doubt him. The problem fixed itself after a reset.

Response from developer

Hi Michael Unfortunately that's a macOS bug, not a Broadcasts bug. We've seen this crop up in several different apps, all that use the system review prompt. The system review prompt is handled entirely by macOS — apps have no control over whether it shows or how often — and should only show a couple of times per year at most (and can be turned off in the App Store preferences), but in some cases it can get stuck and keep throwing up dialogs in the background, whether the app is running or not. (I'm not sure setting any kind of star rating fixes things when macOS is in this state; one star or five) Logging out of macOS and logging back in (or rebooting) fixes the background process in macOS that handles displaying the dialog, but we agree, it's incredibly frustrating for both us and users, and we wish Apple would fix it. We're sorry you had this experience.

Very good

The app works great. The is interface is simple and does the job. I was looking for a simple radio app that works on my Apple Watch stand-alone. I want to stream radio via cellular while running. Broadcasts does that well. iTunes only allows only some Apple stations, and has a hokey Siri interface. TuneIn nor MyTuner work when untethered from the iPhone. So: until now I like this app a lot.

Excellent Internet Radio App

This developer never disappoints and it shows especially in this app which delivers one of the closest-to-native experiences I've seen in any third-party app. It's simple and does what is advertised extremely well. It takes full advantage the current APIs on both macOS and iOS/iPadOS. Finally have a clean way to listen to my favorite stations outside of a web browswer.

Video support!

What could possibly go wrong if you add video support!?

Fantastic App!

Just wanted to say that I love this app. I just it on the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch and it’s so awesome with how seamless it works between the three. Also love how you were able to add streaming on the Apple Watch version when other apps can’t even get streaming options going.

Keep up the amazing work, I’m going to keep supporting you in anyway I can!

Perfect

Please don't change this app too much, in terms of usability. If you're going to keep adding features, then okay, but the simplicity of this radio app is what makes it PERFECT.

Great way to have WWOZ on Apple TV and Carplay

Great app, easy to set up a collection of stations. I love it mostly for addressing missing features from the WWOZ app.

Amazing.

Awesome to listen to my favorite live podcasts on my mac in an app instead of in Safari.
