Says podcast is music
I’m having the same problem as others, I put in the podcast I want and it tells me I need to select it on Apple Music, which it obviously isn’t on, as it’s a podcastJackT1865

Hi there. I apologize for any inconvenience. At the moment the app requires that the default Apple Music app be installed on the device in order to play the podcasts.It works
Tried several apps. This one is simple and works as I wished. Dont understand why others which claim to play podcast as the alrm dont work at all still get thousands good reviews. dont care. Enjoy！4-A-F

Hi, I'm sorry the app isn't working as expected. It sounds like the alarm might not have been activated, in which case the back up alarm sound plays. Check out the FAQ for more and please don't hesitate to send a bug report if you're still having issues.Needs work
I love the app, but it only works half the time, or less.
It constantly switches to “will not play from the background” or whatever that setting is, and won’t work until I turn it back on.
It’ll also prematurely start a podcast when i go to fix the issue, then not play the podcast when the alarm is actually supposed to go off.
It just needs some work. But it’s better than most the others out there that I’ve seen.Show lessTarheelFan123
Doesn’t Work
This app straight up doesn’t work for me...I can’t figure out why. I set it up to play podcasts from the Apple podcasts app, and no matter what I do it just doesn’t play. It’ll show the little screen with “STOP, KEEP PLAYING, SNOOZE” but no sound comes out. Meanwhile, my volume is on 100% and my phone isn’t on silent.Show lesschuissisi
Needs improvement
The app is actually really well made boasting a lot of features which work quite well. However, unfortunately, when I try to set a podcast as an alarm (the reason I downloaded) it plays music from my phone’s library rather than the podcast. If this could be fixed I would use it every day and probably even pay for itShow lessbillybee54

There was such a market for this app! I have been waiting for a long time to find an app that functions exactly like this one. Nothing else out there functions like this app. Every morning I am able to listen to a twenty minute Modern Love podcast as my wake up call and start my day off on a productive and positive note. The developer clearly thought of everything. The features are so custom tailored and I’m really happy with the thought that went into this.Show lesslayla_has

Is the alarm on? Is the alarm off? Who knows!
This has to be the number 1 most confusing app with regards to turning an alarm on and off. There are so many caveats as to when the alarm will and will not play that every night it’s a gamble as to whether alarm will go off or not! Despite the option to set notifications when the alarm is off, AND the option to set it to “activated all the time”, you still can’t guarantee that it will go off. I’ve had the alarm set and saying “activated” multiple times now but it’s failed to go off.
With regards to the settings around playing podcasts, this is the only decent app on the market. The option to play only unheard episodes is surprisingly missing from other podcast apps. In addition, it is one of the only apps to offer the option to play the oldest episodes first. For this reason, this is still the best podcast alarm clock in the App Store. Just need to make sure you set a back up alarm in another, more reliable app as this one is temperamental.Show lessFollowTheFez

UPDATE: Just wanted to add that I have changed the default mode to 'Always Activated' and fixed a bug that was making that not work sometimes. Hope you'll give it another chance. Hey there.
