I don’t pay for Apple Music!
I was really excited to use this app but when I woke up to my backup alarm I was bummed to find out the Next Up alarm never went off because I don’t pay for Apple Music. I don’t understand why it’s not connected to the Apple Podcast app where I listen to podcasts for free. Not to mention it didn’t warn me about this issue before I went to bed and I could have missed worked if I hadn’t set an extra alarm.Show lessMarnie29

Broken and unreliable
The podcast will not play in the alarm mode for my device. I spent a half an hour fiddling with it to no success. I also tried giving a big report but the button in the app was broken. The app is a great idea but it has too many bugs to be a reliable alarm. I hope that if I come back to this alarm in the future it will work properly.Show lessTea-O-Poar

Hey there. I'm really sorry for the trouble you've had with the app. I haven't encountered some of those issues before, but will definitely look into them. At least one other user reported that reinstalling the app and/or restarting the phone resolved some initial quirks they encountered. It does exactly what it was designed to do. I had to restart my phone before it worked the first time, but it was an issue with my phone not the app. A great job was done by the developer(s).

I’ve been looking for an app like this for awhile now and you’ve happened to nail it right on the head. Thank you so much for creating this! The UI and design is extremely sexy. One suggestion would be to somehow add a feature where it allows you to start the podcast where you left off the morning before. Possibly you could do this by having the app manually download a copy of the podcast and then have the app itself serve as the start stop function. Not sure if this is possible since I know absolutely nothing about app development, however I figured I’d just toss it out there. Great feature idea! So great I added it. Off by default, but easily enabled in the Settings tab. Turn it on and your podcasts will start where you last left off, even if you were listening in the Podcasts app. Thanks for the kind words and suggestion!Beautiful app, no ads

It won’t work at all
I am so sad this doesn’t work! I’ve tried several times but the alarm never works at all. Literally nothing happens. Please don’t use this as your only alarm unless it gets fixed.ktb224
Didn’t work
I kept this alarm for several days, and while it’s a very beautiful app it just doesn’t work. The podcast alarm never went off once and it also somehow turned off my main iPhone clock alarm. Luckily I didn’t have any morning shifts for work this week or I’d have been really out of luck.kgmus
